@ScienceEndFaith It's called Memory Cloth. It has the appearence of regular cloth but once you run a current through it the molecules rearrange to form another shape. Batman uses it for his gliding and in order to be as effective as only a superhero can be, he keeps it at a partial charge constantly to make himself look awesome and only ups the voltage when he actually needs to glide. The controls for this are located in his gloves
