Songs are recorded instrument-for-instrument on multiple tracks that are put together afterwards. Otherwise, a band would have to do everything in one shot, which would be annoying with fuck-ups and not being able to add extra stuff.

If the resulting mastertape (which holds all the individual tracks, as opposed to a CD or LP) is still around and you can get your hands on it, you can isolate one of the tracks and put it on the net, which is probably what happened with all these vids.

wrong, u get software that isolates tracks on mp3, which is why the quality isnt that great and u can still hear a little bit of the song in the background, which isnt the headphones because those headphones are noisless.
