  • good tip !

  • This is a very ghetto way of balancing, don't be lazy people, get some very fine grit sand paper and sand the aft side of the tip down prop. Not the leading or trailing edge, or tip!! the back surface.

  • Thanks

  • this is only the basics of balancing. You also have to balance the leading and trailing edges if the prop always stops in the same position on the balancer/with the same edge facing down.

  • But if you hit the ground and a small piece of plastic comes off, probably it's a good idea to replace the prop instead of rebalancing it. It wont be aerodynamically stable.

  • your only balancing the tips.prop is heavy on one side if you turn it 180. should be balanced in any

    position.

  • i use paint as tape tends to come off at high rpms bit slower but it aint gonna come off or better still tipex it heaver

  • Thank you for doing all the foot work and passing on all these great tips! I cant wait for my SloYak to come in so I can get started!

  • did you see the new Sloyak28 video!

  • Yep, I check your videos out every day to see what is new! Do you have a TIP on how to cut out the wing slots and tail wing slots to the right thickness? I know they need to be the same as the thickness of the foam, but I am wondering if you have a good TIP for this?

  • Thanks alot,I needed to do this on my own build propeller.

  • Sorry I just noticed the video go chopped at the end. all you misses was a plug to my website and me asking other what information should I post next.
