No it wouldn't. You simply have to add in a paddle move and a pen switch. I didn't do the paddle move here cuz it's really hard to do on camera.

Well here's how i do it.

Introduce normal white pen, have it examined. Take it back, do a pen switch, paddle move, change it to black, paddle move again, change it back, paddle move some more, switch it for the normal pen, and have it examined again.

It's actually a quite simple method actually. Just pay close attention and you'll figure it out.
