I think you mixed up the In and Out numbers which did vex me for a minute until I realized the error, the effect however when done correctly is sweet grazie!

but whn i used impact font the chrome didnt come out looking right and i followed the tutorial exactly how u said

For fonts like Impact, some options change: (i try impact 60pt)

bevel & emboss > size:10

curve (a) > 1: 188/67 2: 63/127 3: 188/169

curve (b) > 1: 190/66 2: 60/129 3: */180 *value to the desired brightness

Inner glow > size:3

all else equal the tutorial

however the effect is not excellent, you should use gotic font, or similar for best :)
