great overall effort but you didnt really think how the body would be underneath, as whos shoulder is that long (if you intended it then its ok) and you draw the same way i do, using blue first then going over it in black lol

sicne the face isnt looking directly at us(correct me if i m wrong)its turnet a little bit right(from owr point o view)you can extend the left eyebrow as much as to be longer than the left eye i believe that it would look even better. thats it.

i think what causes that illusion is the fact that the whole vid is squished, i recorded a square (like a twit!!) not realising YT would stretch it. also about the brow i think your right. next time ill do that where appropriate :) cheers 4 spotting it!

when iv done all of the below i remove lineart and make sure its right then i rub out all thats gone over the lines and add a (C) and a watermark if im selling it (i use Adobe PhotoShop Cs2) *i hope this helps*

there is a tutorial by 0paperwings0 on deviantART its like how i do mine paper is brilliant at horses :) :D

all i do is make about 10 layers 1st is lineart (at top)then mane/tail then detail then skribble then base then grey (at bottom) then i fill the grey layer with a light grey, and i get a color i want for the body eg mid grey and color the horse in doesnt matter about going over lines (on base layer) then i go to

skribble layer and i scribble with a size 1 brush in the right places under belly dark gradualy getting lighter then darker as if light is shining on its coat then i smudge in the direction of the fur with a size 5 brush,then on the detail layer i make darker areas bolder eg lines on neck and i draw marks on its face to shape it and add white areas (stars, snips, socks) and i draw muscles

then i go to the mane and tail layer and use a size 1 brush and scribble until its mane and tail look how i want then i use a size 3brush and i smudge it so it looks better (flick ends make it softer etc)

Wow so many questions but not enough room to write. Man that was awesome =). How can you draw that? You didn't even scan it in. Were you looking at a picture? Using a mouse or drawing tablet? Was there multiple layers when you were drawing? Man you keep on drawing. Too friggen awesome!!!

yes i used a wacom tablet! they are so useful ive had mine 3 years now dont need a new pen yet! and i think there were 2 layers on that pic (3 inc background white!)i just use memory reference, just knowing what he looks like then putting him into a corresponding pose... then turning him into manga! just practise and practise and youll reach this level eventualy, i promise, practise practise!! :D im still practising too!

Wow I'm suprised you don't know what do draw. With your talent you could draw just about anything. Any video games you like? Metal Gear Solid? Final Fantasy? Anime like Rurouni Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop, Dragon Ball, etc. I don't know but I look foward to seeing whatever you draw next.
