My swelling is all the way down now .... I can talk normal now... But eating I still must take that slow still... I dont wanna fool around and bite down on it because I know it will be painful as all hell!!! Your video was very helpful, unlike others I seen! Lol
Nice! I was talking funny for about 2 weeks when I got mine done. Originally because the piercer put in too short of a bar for the amount of swelling that I got. So it was very painful and after 5 days went in to get it change and that made it inflamed for like another wk. sucked but it's totally healed now. Yours looks good :) want anymore?
I just got my snake eyes piercing 6 days ago!! And I 💜 it... How long did it take for ur swelling to go down???? They pierced me with a 16g curved eyebrow ring... I'm going to get some clear or pinkish balls once it heals... But so far I 💜 it and the pain it's so bad...
@BuDnLoCs My swelling went down rather quickly. Um I believe it hurts because of the size of your bar. I don't think they should have used a 16g ring. Your piercing probably feels very tight because because the bar isn't long enough, that was my problem with a 14g. My recommendation is ICE. Sucking it may probably hurt so just letting it melt on your tongue may help. Lots of ice and rinse with sea salt, not table salt, and warm water. Hopefully this helps. Just let me know.
@TheRachelleMonae Thanks! Yeah healing time was next to nothing compared to some of the other reviews out there. It didn't come across on camera, but I slurred my words a lot and had a slight lisp. That's gone now.
@TheRachelleMonae I'll start by saying it's best to go to a professional, that being said I used a 14g needle. I have needles/forceps so I did it. I use mouthwash after every meal/beverage that isn't water, or I just brush my teeth. And salt water soaks at night or if I talked a lot during the day. And ice! Ice is definitely a God send for tongue piercings.
@TheRachelleMonae No problem! I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine. I do suggest plastic balls. Getting used to the piercing takes time and you will tend to bite on them depending on how you talk/chew. Plastic balls lessen the chance of chipping your teeth.
@TheRachelleMonae I'm not entirely sure, but I think it's called bioflex. I'm almost positive. It's the best alternative because it's flexible and it's easy to customize.

@BuDnLoCs Yeah that wasn't fun the first time I did it, but you'll get the hang of it. I'm glad I could help! That's exactly why I made this video.

@neveravg How did you pierce it yourself? And how many times do you use mouth wash and sea salt?
