  • SecretsOfLongevity it's true that phytoquimicals on vegetables and fruits are more absorbable if they're eating along with fat???, if this is true I think is fantastic to put some oil on that drink or eating some fatty food along with that drink.

  • @HughSirable That's true about whole vegetables as it helps get the nutrients out of the cell wall. The juicer has broken open all of the cell walls so there's no added benefit to taking it with oil.

  • Thanks for the recipe!, this really tastie whitout putting something sweet? and please, explain me, what happen with carrot and beets?. For sure is bad in excess but... is bad to eat 1 or 2 carrots at day if I'm healthy?, if sugar is terrible, all the fruits are unhealthy?

Or do you means that is terrible eating that when is in juice?

    Another thing, please:

What do you say at the end of the video about kale, spinach and Romaine? (I'm not native of english).

    THANK YOU

  • ! Have you considered intellectus diet (search on google for intellectus424dietcom)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my cousin lost a ton of weight with it.

  • I thought that eggs had the closest amino acid composition to what we need?

  • @budsmokerthc First of all they're mostly albumin which is a protein (albeit a very easily digestible one) and takes enzymes and work for our body to break down. Sunflower sprouts do have a closer amino acid profile than eggs do, plus they're in free form amino acids, not proteins. Personally I eat eggs, they're still great.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity Thank you very much i just found your channel today and its awesome man keep it up.

  • You said your grown your pea sprouts on a juice mat. Where can I buy it? I really am intrested in this because always changing the soil is a pain in my little appartement

  • @Inflamsx It's a Jute mat and you can get them at hydroponic or garden shops. I found that they don't work anywhere near as well as soil and so I do all my sprouts in soil now.

  • Thanks for sharing the knowlege and information. I'm recovering from some serious health issues and the information is invaluable and truly priceless. Only in the last few days have I become aware of the life-force-potential of sprouts. It's my goal in this this iteration to become as as close to enlightenment, as I can. Your advice is helping me on this path. You are a wonderful, kind, and compassionate human being. Peace and blessings.

  • @zela9999 Thanks :) Good luck on your path!

  • How much does it cost to go on a Hippocrates program? Thanks

  • @RyanDotTv At the institute it is roughly $4,500 for 3 weeks.

  • The "best" Juicer is surely the Angel Juicer! Not the crappy Green Star used in this vid!

  • @03015566 The angel juicer is impressive but that different compared to the green star yet it is nearly 3 times the price. Who cares if a juicer is shiny.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity ...its not only the looks. In tests of the Korean advanced Health institute it has proven to crush open the cellular walls of any green you put into it. (just check out the length of the Gears Dude) thus the nutrition density (vitamins and minerals) is up to 7 times(!!!) higher than with other twin gear juicers. I have had the Green Star Elite - and compared to the angel juicer its just a pain to clean and the plastic parts get stained and start to smell after a while...

  • @03015566 Very interesting, you have me intrigued and I'll look into it more, thanks!

  • Thanks Zak, I liked your lemon tip. I add my sprouts last and I add a couple of cardomom seed to my green shake which makes it tastes very aromatic!

  • @sandpiper22 Wow, cardamom, that sounds fantastic!

  • great video Zak.

Green Star is the best. I love using it.

Any tips on reducing foaming when juicing herbs like fresh nettles?

  • @mrjimmypayjo I usually add a few drops of olive or sesame oil before juicing anything and it prevents it from foaming up. This works great with wheatgrass too!

  • Hi Zak, What is your opinion about carrot juice Dr. Norman Walker, used carrot juice in many of the healing juices recipies?, Do you think after many years of experience he it was wrong?

    Peace :0)

  • @LovingChoice Carrots from 100 years ago had 4x less sugar in them, plus peoples genetics weren't as messed up as they are now after decades of bad farming practices and mineral depletion. If he was alive today he'd be serving something similar to this juice in this video for his patients with cancer or any other disease.

  • I'd have to grow my own if i wanted sprouts =X

  • 1. What do you usually do with the pulp?

    2. How long do you sprout the sunflower and pea seeds? In sprouting websites they recommend consuming pea sprouts within 1-2 days, but that time is not enough for having the leafs that you showed grow up.

    3. Can you refrigerate the juice for consumption later, and for how long?

  • @balafas 1. The pulp that comes out of the juicer I compost and the pulp in the strainer (very very little) I wash down the drain.

    2. Sprouting anything in soil requires 2 days of pre-sprouting (in a jar or container) first before planting so, yeah much more than 2 days! It takes 7-8 days after planting for them to be ready.

    3. You can refrigerate juice but what's the point?! it's fresh so drink it right then! It loses a lot of nutrition very fast, after 15 min it has lost half it's nutrition.

  • where do you get sun flower sprouts?

  • @domaro3 You can grow them yourself or buy them from someone in your local area that grows them.

  • can you do a video of how to sprout using a mat please?

i am taking betaine HCL which is helping my digestion and health conditions. will this make my blood acidic?

  • hi Zak What is a gym mat? that you grow your sprouts on.

I blew my juicer up by putting cut pieces of sugar cane into it.

  • @sherabfri Oh no! I was saying JUTE mat, it's a little fibrous thing that doesn't work so well for growing sprouts, lol!

  • Thanks for recipe Zak. I would love it if you could do more everyday recipes, because your diet is not high in nuts and seeds, and neither in fruit, which is very interesting and something I am trying to do right now. If you could do a video on what you eat in a day from time to time (different seasons), or something like that, it'd help us a lot!

Keep up the good work! :)

  • @serene141 Thanks for the idea!

  • hahahaha 10:24-10:29 ... You got really intense there for a second.

  • @btuck1223 Haha thanks, I had to watch that part again to know what you meant. When it hits it's like a rush of alkaline clarity!

  • thanks for sharing brother! great video!
