It's in the news idiot, Christians believe that unbaptized children go to the first level of hell "limbo". Of course thisdidn't jam well with christian families who had children die before they could receive baptism.

Then here is my question: Since you know that children grow up and many if not most of them don't qualify for eventual entry into heaven, then why don't you go around killing babies? This is your only known 100% effective method of getting souls into heaven and the only thing keeping you from it is the threat of hell for yourself. Isn't that a bit selfish to consign someone to hell when you had the opportunity to save them?

@LifeChurchtv According to the bible unless a baby is the 'immaculate conception' i.e. born devoid of 'original sin' (as Mary was - which is why she was chosen to be Jesus' mother) then it will go to hell. Pretty sick isn't it? but that's the bible for you!

@bluegrim because some woman ate a fruit which gave us knowledge WHICH gave us the potential to sin. A baby has no knowledge or intelligence, thus has no capability of sinning; "original sin" is a lie.

@L0VE2TROLL Hi, I hope this helps. There was a man named King David. God called him "A man after God's own heart" and King David had a new born son that was going to die. In 2nd Samuel ch 12 the son dies and this is what King David said, “I will go to him, but he will not return to me" If "the man after God's own heart" is going to go to his son some day then that must mean that that baby is in heaven.

@RiddleTales If you're quoting the old testament then should we believe everything in the old testament? Such as leviticus, where we are commanded by god to stone blasphemers? And even though you quote something that is potentially very ambiguous Roman Ctaholics and main branch protestants agree that unbaptized babies go to hell already, and they have studied scripture far more than you or I have.

why most churches are infatuated with: Vision, Purpose, Leadership?
Why less and less theology, doctrine, and expository preaching is being done at these type of churches?
Have we lost sight of what the Church really is suppose to be? I am not confused, but I am troubled by what I am started to see. I don’t know how this started, buy there are many things I was not aware of that now, compared to Scripture, I see many, many flaws in our current churches.

If you read the Bible you will see we where created Good,we ourselve where corrupted by sin,we are not sin ourselves though,it is the sin that is bad .We where made to be good and in God's image .Through Jesus we are cleansed of sin and are brought back to what our original image was,it was good and holy.God is love,and we where made in his image,so we where made to be love also. Sin is the enemy of God.God loves us ,he does not love sin.He removed it from us through Jesus.We are holy now.

@pricelesspam well, we ourselves are not holy. we have done nothing great. It's Jesus who did the great thing :) He died for us and now he SEES us as holy, in His eyes. He sees us as he saw Jesus because He died for us, taking our sins away. We are not holy by anything that WE did. :)

The poorest and possibly most pious people in the western hemisphere were recovering from three huricanes and now this... I think if the Haitian disaster shows us anything it is that either there is no God or if there is one, he does not intervene so worship of him is pointless. Maybe God is punishing them for not listening to Saint Paul when they freed themselves from French slave owners.

The Psalmist says of the LORD, "You hate all who do iniquity" (Psa 5:5b). The LORD says through Amos, "Hate evil, love good" (Amos 5:15a). God's love is not in opposition to His hate. To love good is to hate evil. The opposite to love is not hate, but rather indifference. "the Lord disciplines those he loves" (Heb 12:6a)

@draxxman1 If you truly knew the Bible, you would know that God doesn't "love" everyone. In Malachi 1:2-3(NASB) it says "....Yet I have loved Jacob; but have hated Esau...". And you might say well thats Old Testament, but in Malachi 3:6 it says "For I the Lord, do not change...." and Hebrews 13:8 says He is the same "...yesterday, today, and forever, yes."
