i always wondered why vengerov always has some kind of weird lip-spasms while he plays,is it necessary?

yeah vengerov is short. on video n tv he looks much taller than what he is. on stage sometimes u come to think he's 6ft or so but hes actually nowhere near that

He plays this piece so furiously! It's great, but I still think his best is the 3rd Ysaye Sonata :)
