I'd say the odds are HUGE. I once threw a round rock in anger. It hit it's target (a concrete pillar 50feet away) and then bounced back and hit me in the eye. Knocked myself out cold. I saw the rock come at me in slow motion. I tried to dodge it and move away but it fucking followed me I swear!
