I whole heartedly believe in the Conservative party and they are the party to bring us all to a secure future. I travel to Kenya on Monday then to Juba in South Sudan and I know my local MP Mr Tony Baldry has been there too. A Conservative cares for all!

This is absolutely brilliant! I am a member of the Labour Party- but after seeing this I not so sure anymore. I care tremendously about helping the developing world, especially Africa, and I'm going to Kenya on Monday for a school project. The Conservative Party really is the party for international development and helping the third world!
@LairdKincavle Then you should consider travelling with Umubano. I participated this year and it is really a life-changing opportunity. It is the thing to do if you are interested in International Development in 3rd World Countries.
Blind faith leads to blind obedience which is why the UK is currently in such a mess. How can other posters ignore the hypocrisy of pretending to care by publicity stunts like this, and then be party to the type of suppression of trade voted for by the Tory group in the EU Parliament. Cameron has already shown he is a two faced liar over the PPC group in Europe. He claimed he would with draw from that group, but has not meaning an alliance with pro EU right wing groups. Wake up Tory Voters. UKIP

Koolestguy123,You may well be interested to know that Britain as a member of the EU is complicit in the scandal of food price fixing which is forcing African Nations to reduce their prices to, at times below cost in order to trade with the EU. Further compounded by the continued food dumping programme of the EU, and restrictions the EU place on what WE can actually import from Africa. This should give you something to think about the next time you see TV pictures of famine in Africa and Asia.
Fantastic work by the Conservative Party! This sort of charity is what should feature heavily in British foreign policy; we should be reaching out to our African friends, giving them any aid they need and the encouragement that Africa's future will be bright.
Here's to Rwanda's Commonwealth application, and too much more co-operation between our two countries!

This is yet another example of how David Cameron wants to be another Blair, whilst it is right to be concerned about the third world the constituents of the MP's I guess would have thought it was their MP's 'job', during the Parliamentary break to actually be in their constituencies seeing local people. Worthy cause or not Cameron should learn the lessons of Labour failure and spend more time worrying about Britain.
This sort of activity shows that Conservatives do worry about Britain... we don't live in isolation anymore, what happens everywhere in the world impacts our island. If Africa can lift itself out of poverty we get new markets for goods and services, less debt to write off, less aid, fewer diseases, less terrorism - and actually show the world we have a conscience. Conservatives care, not sure I can say the same for UKIP.
I guess you missed the bit about the EU being responsible for keeping African Nations subservient by their pricing policy, which your party would continue being part of the EU. UKIP do indeed care our policy is free trade across the globe, not the sort of free trade agreements the EU forces on the third world. I would suggest you actually research what the EU is doing to Africa. But I guess blinkered politics is why the UK is in the mess we are. I spent 35 years as a Conservative voter.I woke up
I too always voted Conservative but have now woken up, voting UKIP in the Euro elections. But I have a real dilemma at the General Election: in my constituency voting UKIP would just let Labour back in. There is no alternative really but to vote Conservative. I imagine many others are in the same boat.
I am afraid that is exactly the line that the Tories rely, 'a vote for UKIP in a GE is a vote for Labour'. That simply isn't the case any more.
Labour are losing out mainly to the BNP, however UKIP is taking votes from all the parties. This Propaganda about caring is not reflected in the fact that the Tory MEP's under Cameron have voted for trading terms which mean the countries in Africa are worse off. They cannot support themselves thus meaning they rely on the EU for handouts.
Perhaps you can help me on this, since I've had no reply from the SNP or UKIP.
If Scotland became independent and the rest of the UK quit the EU, Scotland would no doubt remain within the EU (goodness knows why, independence is aimed at gaining more powers not having them taken away). But what then of our no-immigration policy, short of rebuilding Hadrian's Wall?
Very interesting question. I guess unless there was a special concession given (which I doubt) Scottish citizens would then face the same work permit, residency criteria as all other applicants.
Clearly border controls would apply in much the same way as they do in mainland Europe for Switzerland and Norway when entering the EU zone.
A vote to exit the UK would be interesting, would the Scottish Government have to repay the monies used to get them off the hook with Spain.
The EU doesnt even work in the one area that might be seen as a strength - political solidarity, as witness its spineless inaction after Britains call for a united response to Irans prosecution of UK embassy staff.
If that doesnt wake others up to the expensive charade that is the EU, what will?
