  • By the way, you should of named it "Naoto Hattori, a retrospective"

  • Why does your musics have to scare the hell out of me?! They almost sound like I'm in The Nether, a dark cave and The End!

  • The only Habeeb I found was a Yasser habeeb is the the right artist?

  • @BlotBlackInk Habeeb isn't the Yasser Habeeb singer producer of the United Arab Emirates. Try punching Hebeeb Rigor Mortis into your browser to track down some info.

  • If we could ignore that Hattori's paintings are, I belive, just a few inches in size, sure -- why not? And we all know that those of us who love surrealist art are the normal people. Not that we can prove it, of course. Not that anyone would believe us, either. Thanks for watching.

  • Ive seen his work before, It was about 30 years ago,I was on A real bad trip. Do you think that if they exchange all of the U K road sign with Naoto Hattori , Picture It would slow-down all of the U K traffic. And that would be both good for health and safety and art all at the same time. Or am eye still geting flash-backs. I know im normal becaue his work allways cheers me up.

  • What music did you use for the video please?

  • @MSTurunuka The music for "Naoto Hattori" is "Rigor Mortis" by Habeeb. Hope you enjoyed it.

  • magnifique!!

  • nice :)

thanks for the vid, funny thing, i own the very first one you show :o)

i have been a fan of his for years and have a few other originals purchased from his site, he is a great artist, very friendly, and glad to see after the earthquake , he is still up and able to sell. also wanted to mention the Greg Simkins piece that somehow managed to slip in your vid there ;) Simkins and Hattori are my 2 favorite artists at the moment.

  • I have one of his paintings and might need to sell it to pay bills. If somebody is interested, please contact me through YouTube or my homepage link.

  • I love this guy, I have two miniature originals bought from his website. They are worth every penny and he will hold them if you need a little time. He held one for me and was super nice about it and emails were returned very quickly. I highly recommend buying one of his miniatures. They are exquisite.

  • name of the painting at 5:52 please?

  • @Mugzy619 The painting at 5:52 is "Low Life". Sorry I took this long to respond.

  • fantastic stuff - first time i ever heard of him, i have to admit - thank you for this

  • This work stimulates my brain! no lies here!

  • WHAT'S THE BG MUSIC????

  • @theworldofozven The music for "Naoto Hattori" is "Rigor Mortis" by Habeeb. Sorry I took this long to reply.

  • from 0:54 to 1:01 that painting was done by greg simkins aka craola, not naoto hattori.

  • Thank you for the heads up. I'll have to check out Simkins some time.

  • woah! i like his art- its sort of the stuff i like-ie mark ryden... its really good art!

  • Glad you enjoyed it. Check out my Ryden video if you haven't already done so.

  • WOAH the feelings that i get from this art is so obscure and intense. I can almost feel it in my stomach. EXTREME! AMAZING!

  • Glad to know the video had an impact on you. Thanks for watching.

  • wow. i dont even know what to make of the art. its such a mind fuck i love it

  • Many of his paintings are only a couple of inches in height. Glad you like his work.

  • do any of u know if he uses oil or acrylics for these?

  • According to one website, he uses oils and acrylics, plus other media.

  • Amazing art, clearly see the mark ryden influence in the paintings.

  • Thanks for commenting. I will post more artist videos as soon as I have Internet service at home again.

  • I'm pleased that you enjoyed my video. It's always been interesting to me that certain artists' works can hold great meaning for us, and can move us tremendously.

  • I did forget about him now for a few years...when i has moved and everything, but it was awesome to watch his site again. since 2000 or something i watched his pictures and its mindblowing. an extremely intelligent/creative japanese man.

  • yeah, i forgot about him. I always followed his work. for like 5 years ago..to present. I updated myself today. He is awesome! I even sent him a picture way back when i was drawing hehe, and i think he liked it..

    Thanks, nice video.
