  • cant wait for it to come out but i live in commiefornia

  • This gun is rock, another creation from Israel.

  • tears just welled up in my eyes im so goddamn happy......

  • @DramaticGnome1210 me too.

  • Do we know what the price is going to be one this baby yet?

  • Great video, thanks for posting it. Can't wait to fight to get one!

  • Comment removed

  • where can we buy this when its on the market? what company is shipping it

  • @Azuredeviljin IWI will be the manufacturer, and I assume they will be using TWA's (Charles Daly) distribution channels to get them to your LGS...

  • I'm in line to buy one, I've been waiting for this for a while...

  • WANT! The Tavor is something I've had an eye on for years, but never seriously thought it'd hit the US market.

  • Dang. That thing just looks BA.

  • Did he say they are gonna build them in NY? Cant hear over the stupid music...

  • @mobiusonethree He says "...in the US..." Sorry about the music, I'm not great at the editing thing!

  • @BullpupForum Hey man keep up the good work. Just keep in mind, Guns are like cars... we want to hear what it sounds like, not music dubbed over. Especially when people are talking!

  • @BullpupForum @ around 2:45 it sounds like he said NY

  • FINALLY!!!

  • I've been following the thread about this on ARF for months. Definetly gonna get one of these to go with my AUG; assuming they are priced similar what they cost in Canada.

  • CD and IWI can get this out there with a street price of somewhere under $2000 (not $1999) with the Meprolight M21 on it, and I WILL buy one.

  • @andrew32155

I think your price suggestion is pretty close ;-)

But the Meprolight isn't cheap, so add it, and go up from there...

  • That is a cool system.

  • Just about crapped my pants. This is my dream gun.

  • As of this very moment I am now saving for one of these. It's about time.

  • YESSS!!!! SEXY!!!! I will have one... All these AR mags lying around with nothing to do... Lol!

  • SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

  • steyr is superior. get a steyr, support austria.

  • @labartic Kind of hard to do that when the company that they licensed to produce them in the US got busted for illigally exporting AR parts and illigaly importing suppressors.

  • Damn....curse me left handedness....

  • Does anyone know if this is the latest redesigned Tavor? Because IDF had many reliability issues with original Tavor models and they have been switching them to new designs.

  • Notice how the Tavor is bagged up and not on disply.....so nothing is finlaized yet

  • @BullpupForum That's okay. We have after market companies that will make it legal for us. That, or jump ship and get lower taxes at the same time :).

  • YES! Not only is it a US Spec Tavor, but it isn't the crazy Canadian version! It's the legit tavor size/style.

I personally would like to see the 18" Standard TAR-21 barrel, but I wouldn't complain about the CTAR aslong as it's not a SBR.

I know what I am saving up for!

  • Great, now I'm torn between the Tavor, Beretta's ARX-160 and a FS2000 tactical. I'm only getting one rifle so it'll come down to price, availability and reviews.

  • @TangledThorns

From what I've seen I would avoid the F2000 line up of guns, they use way too many plastic parts and clearing malfunctions is a nightmare. Try a Tavor maybe find a place you can rent one from and put some rounds through it before you make a decision.

  • @TangledThorns with the release off arx-160 in 22lr. maybe the 5.56 version will be pushed next year. Tavor most likely released by Christmas like the Keltec KSG due to production restraints. I would just buy or at least shoot the FS2000 by then you could keep it or tarde it in. Personally I shot and love the FS2000

  • I'm sold on it if I can get one for less than a FS2000.

  • Awesome weapon. I'm going to start dedicating funds now!

  • "Yup. Semi Auto TAR-21. It's pretty awesome. The fuck do you want me to say? Buy it."

  • i came

  • Leave it to the US to make a foreign gun better, including an amazing Israeli TAR-21...

  • @xCrimsonxTidex You clearly havent spent enough time dealing with Century Arms imported kit stuff have you?

  • @Lonewolf6565 I was refering to the extra rail space, i know what CA is and i know this is a civilian model thats semi-auto...

Im just glad the ATF now lets us use a TAR-21 based rifle now...

  • fantastic.....i hope their is a short top rail too so it doesn't have that stupid gap. also price point? i didn't hear on.

  • Would you please consider not laying down a music soundtrack underneath this kind of video. Really irritating trying to hear you and the guy talking.

Did you get any idea of what it is going to retail for?

  • @ptmccain I agree. Great video. Crappy idea to add music. You made it hard to hear what they were saying. Don't do that again. It is a waste of time.

  • Very cool. That bad-boy will sell like hotcakes for while until pent-up demand is met.

  • It doesn't have the shoulder thingy that goes up..so it's legal? ;)

  • @akmarksman

    LOL

I love that statement. Laugh ever time I hear it.

  • @akmarksman you talking about that pesky barrel shroud? ;o

  • off topic, I see Charles Daley in the background, I thought they went out of business?

  • @gasitman They did. Transworld arms is a new firm that bought the rights to them & is bringing it back to market.

  • "already got the ATF dealt with" LOL.

  • @mwgowin love it when a member of the industry is honest about how they feel about the cartel armorers oops I mean the ATF : )

  • saving my pennies for this

  • But put the KT RFB in .260 rem, and I'll be on it like a hobo on a ham sandwich. This one, I'd have to know how it's better than the FS2000 or AUG, which are both quite nice and capable rifles. Is it a lot cheaper than these? A little cheaper? The FS2000 and AUG are both ambi as well, and the FS2000 doesn't need to swap anything, so.....

  • @DrTadHusseinWinslow It's 10x sexier looking...

  • How do you get on the floor on media day? I must not understand how this works...

  • thanks!

  • want!

  • I can pretty much say right now I'll be buying one of these.

  • *droools*

  • Is there any chance that you know or can ask Michael if they will make one that is CA legal? or perhaps there's a quick fix that he can suggest? ... It's just that from what I gather, the TAR-21, which I'm dying to get, is 28.3" (18.1" barrel) which is 1.7" too short for CA.

  • @h0td0gjp With some sort of maglock and a 1.7"+ barrel extension/muzzle attachment it should be CA legal.

As long as fake cans aren't illegal here(I can't recall), w/ a fake suppressor and a maglock, you'd be good to go. Asking for trouble if some soccer mom, or cop sees it, but still, legal.

  • @h0td0gjp

We need to find another state, why have it neutered and not enjoy the full potential...

  • @h0td0gjp CA legal. What a joke. Screw California. No gun company should ever adjust the design of a weapon to conform to CA's ludicrous standards.

  • @therealweenis I merely meant that there might be a quick fix that we, in California, can do to be able to get them. For example, order a slightly longer barrel or muzzle break, have a bullet button, etc.

  • @h0td0gjp If they make special bullet buttons and special barrels, for California compliance, then unneeded operations go into the production of the gun. This results in a higher gun cost, because they need to pay for tooling, R&D, and abnormal processing. A higher cost that is most likely going to be passed on to every customer, whether they're in Commieforniastan or not. California can pound sand as far as I'm concerned.

Move to a free state, or stop electing bozos to office.

  • @therealweenis It would be foolish to exclude one of the largest markets in the country. All it needs is the proper 18" barrel (which it should have anyway) and a MagLock and it will be good to go. If a $30 maglock is too much work...well...what can I say. We'll get them in Cali regardless of the stance of the company producing them. As for the "move to a free state" business, some of us know that we have to stay and fight rather than run like cowards, as you suggest.

  • @invalidexception

Great point on staying in the fight! I've lived in Cali a couple of times, and love it, so I didn't mean to come across as negative. Just that there are states out there that are more in line with pro-gun people, and give more immediate gun purchasing options...

Stay in the fight, and know that we're in complete support!

  • @BullpupForum Thanks for the clarification, and the support. Great forum BTW...I just joined up tonight.

  • @invalidexception Oh, I see... you're there fighting huh? What are you fighting with? Your guns? Your words? Your votes? Protests? Boycotts?

Well, we all know it's not with guns. Any other "fighting" medium is going to be absolutely useless with the amount of liberal wackos and nutbags.

Like the Puritans, there is a time to uproot and start again somewhere else.

And like Barrett Arms did, there's a time to wash one's hands against an entire state's market.

  • @therealweenis We fight using money and support...the most effective weapon in politics. Besides, you should know that if you don't kill the infection where it starts, it will spread to the whole body. Running away from the fight over the last 21 years has only made things worse for everyone, not better.

For more information, check the CalGuns wiki and read about their past and present litigation.

  • @invalidexception Oh yeah? What have you guys accomplished in California with all your money and votes? Nothing. The laws and political climate has only been getting worse. AB 144 anyone?

When California cops can't get weapons... and there is a boycott from the gun industry from doing business with California as a state, then reform will happen, because the state NEEDS guns.

  • @therealweenis There have been a number of wins (Parker v. California, for instance), and there are a large number of ongoing cases (Richards v. Harris, Pena v. Cid, Nordyke v. King, etc.) which are likely to affect gun laws nation-wide, and If you could be bothered to spend 10 seconds doing your own research, you'd know. Since you can't, I can't say anything more than "Good day to you, sir."

  • @invalidexception These cases don't affect me, and they don't affect laws nationwide at all. Parker v California?! So what?! Richards v. Harris, Pena v. Cid, Nordyke v. King, they're not even done yet, and the nationwide impact is minimal.

Come to Arizona, we can carry a legally owned firearm, while it's loaded, concealed, and without a permit. We will probably be allowing carry on Universities soon. We can carry in a bar, with state shall-issued CCW.

The joke is on you silly Californian.

  • @therealweenis You need to go and read the facts of these cases and their status. They're geared towards heading up to the Supreme Court, and are well on their way, which most certainly will affect laws nation-wide. Again, doing your own research would have saved you from saying something stupid just now. Good day to you, sir.

  • @invalidexception You might need an extended flash hider for the 18" barrel. I think it's only 28 inches OAL with the 18". If I get this I would just keep it disassembled and shoot it out of state with it.

  • @KalashnikovKid762 Actually I believe you're right (I think we would need 1.7" or thereabouts to meet the 30" requirement). Still, the 18" barrel would be closer to an existing military configuration, and it's a lot easier to find a brake / FH that adds 1.7" than it is to find one that adds another 4".

  • @invalidexception I think they'll have an 18" model. President of TWA posted on a forum that "other models could include a 18' version with or without the Mepro 21 reflex sight; perhaps to become the 'IDF' model."

  • @CheekCover 5.56/.223 STANAG Mags (NATO M16/M4 mags)

  • @BullpupForum i think he means like which brand their going to buy, c products, vs pmag vs lancer mags.

  • It looks like a .223/5.56 to me.

  • I want one -just- because of Resident Evil Apocalypse. That's the only reason I need.

  • .223 or .308?

  • Awesome!!

  • Finally!

  • oh please just release it. i dont care what it takes just fucking release it

  • Oh please let it take AR mags and PMags.
