@KchristianX There are several gods and goddesses, Apsu/Abzu, Tiamat, Anu/An, Enki/Ea, Enlil/Ellil, Marduk/Merodach, Inanna/Ishtar, Arruru, Mami, Ninhursag, look up Mesopotamian creator gods on Google.
What are your credentials sir? I like the way you talk and reminds me a lot of a couple of my college professors. In fact I could make a pretty solid bet that you are some sort of educator.
It is nice every now and again to watch videos like this and take a break from most of the speakers in this debate who act like wild monkeys throwing feces at each other.
Good video, and I learned something new about the Mesotopamians.
Oh I agree, my point is the good vs evil dichotomy between the two didn't exist prior to the fall to Babylon. After increasing familiarity with Babylonian religious beliefs we see a shift in their view on who is responsible for evil.
God is less to blame and HaSatan becomes the central evil figure in direct opposition to God.
I'm interested in doing a video explaining the concept of Sheol and it's incorrect translation into Greek in the bible. I'd love to hear any comments or suggestions.
For a welldone exposition on Hebrew Sheol, Greek Hades and Engish Hell take a peek at the YouTube video titled "The Origins of Hell" part 1, by YouTube user itsyourgirlM.
Very interesting. I find it interesting also that the Hebrew had no one to blame for evil until falling to Babylon. Babylonians having gods of good and evil created a dichotomy that the Hebrews needed and then superimposed onto Ha-Satan.
Actually, the Hebrews "did" have someone to blame for evil, it wasn't the HaSatan, it was God, who sent his obedient HaSatans to do His will and decimate mankind. God is correctly identified by Job as the author of good and evil, not a HaSatan, who's job is to carry out God's will as his dutiful servant.
Thanks for the info ,true Blessings
