@SadieGrimsbug GBC(Gameboy Color) was the best since it felt good holding it and it had great games good battery life and getting the feeling of holding it and spending hours playing and enjoying it you will be happy but the GBA(Gameboy Advance) is also a good gameboy i dont get the same feeling and enjoyment of the GBA as i get when i play a GBC and if you are going to play pokemon,zelda or mario i would recomend the color over the advance :) have fun making you'r choise :)

surprisingly, this is the only generation that only had 1 system. I wonder what the reason was for not fucking around with pointless updates on this particular occasion. There's got to be a reason guranteed, no way Nintendo would just pack a system to the max from the get go and leave it at that.

Also, why the FUCK didn't it have a backlit screen? They waited for this shit all the way up to the GBA SP's second version wich came out 1 year after Nintendo ds! Retarded beyond comprehension.

I really liked the IR portion of the Color. and It was only featured in less that 20 games (Pokemon gold silver crystal, super mario bros. deluxe , Harry Potter The Sorcerer's stone and Chamber of Secrets to name the few of them that I own.)

I never knew that you could trade cards in the harry potter games by IR! I figured that out only a year ago! doy!

@heroscaper57 No. Some games have watch batteries inside the carts but typically they last around 10 years and aren't really meant to be replaced (although you can).
