  • I AM GLAD THE GORILLA ATTACKED THE CIRCUS FOR A WHILE. CIRCUS IS ANIMAL CRUELTY.

  • 7:20 haha damn, superman got him with a good one

  • Are those those updated Gorrila Sound effects? I think they are... listen carefully.

  • the gorilla sounds like the hulk

  • Wow, I remenber seeing this as a kid. After this episode, I was totally afraid for Gorillas in zoo's and movies.

    Well, not anymore :)

  • Gigantic the Gorilla: No human fucks with him.

  • Kinda reminds me of Kong eh?

  • Don't those animals know you can't fuck with superman

  • No. Animals are stupid.

  • @557bs

Well if normal people cant learn that valuable lesson then why should animals

  • Wow...this brings back memories, I used to own this episode on VHS when I was just a kid of no more then 10...thanks for the memories...

  • This is a job for Superman

  • so what's with the new sound affects for the animals

  • @ceitiosaurus A lot of video houses that package cartoons that are in the public domain like to put their own sound fx on the originals.

  • Lois Lane is always getting her self into trouble youd think she does it on purpose. LoL

  • King Kong.

  • The last of the Superman cartoons produced by the actual Fleischer studios, Terror on the Midway opens as reporter Clark Kent drops his friendly rival Lois Lane off at the circus. On assignment, Lois heads into the big top, ready to enjoy her work and relax. Unfortunately, a mischievous monkey has managed to unlock the cage that holds a ferocious gorilla.

  • Actually, this the last cartoon ever made by Fleischer Studios. The frist cartoon from Famous Studios, "You're a Sap, Mr. Jap," was released three weeks earlier.

  • Mna the Tiger saw Clark changing good thing he acn tell and 6: 54 when Superman fight the gorilla there shadows makues itlike there dancing

  • is it just me or did superman trow that elephant, poor thing.

  • Superman vs King Kong!

  • You're right

  • Superman versus a giant gorilla in the circus at Lois Lane that evening.

  • Superman versus a giant gorilla at the circus and must stop Lois Lane that evening at a circus.

  • @brayrobin This episode scared me as a kid! This is just what I literally hate about circuses. Rampaging animals causing disaster, especially fires, lions, gorillas, elephants, everything. This episode was released in 1942 the year after DUMBO was released in 1941. It's twice as frightening as Mrs. Jumbo's rampage scene.

  • nice

  • This is probably taken from a DVD of the Fleischer Superman cartoons manufactured by the East West DVD company. I have a DVD of the Famous Studios Superman cartoons also made by East West. The company most likely added those extra sound effects just before the DVD's were put on store shelves

  • Holy crap... I remember this from way back. 0_0 I can't believe this! THANK YOU!!

  • This episode scared me as a kid after watching it a few times! If there's one thing scary and intensely frightening about going to a circus, it's rampaging animals on the loose causing chaos and panic in the crowds. People running out of the seats through crowds of others desperately for exits without ever knowing that an animal will run into their paths. Even when the terror begins! The rampaging gorilla and elephant, the fire, everything. IT'S SO FRIGHTENING!
