do you think this could be played on a Schecter c-1 (hellraiser) FR? im not sure how they are for sweeps, the c-1 FR has duncan humbucker pickups and the hellraiser has EMGs 81 and 85

I think so. Shecter guitars are usually really good for shred and sweep stuff. Personally, I like Ibanez guitars better, but Shecter is good too. Good luck on getting a new guitar. :D

Ah!! I know from experience! YES they ARE. Not to say the least about Ibanez.. They are good but to me the higher dollar ones are the only ones worth it. Schecter is hard to beat for it's prices IMO. but my opinion isn't worth much, I'm just saying. You can check out some of my videos for what I have accomplished with a C-1 FR so far.

Well, I used Guitar Pro for a backing track. I don't have the real backing track, but you can download the Guitar Pro file from Oziel's website.

Not everyone plays the same way. There is no "right" way to pick or sweep. No doubt, you have a different way of right hand picking and there is a lot of extra left finger action, but it works for you. Screw them that have such a narrow thought process. Let's see their videos!
