hi, i don't know very much about rc jets, i want to buy the A380 PNP but seeing this video i don't know if a get the PNP or the EDF what is the diferent? thanks
@capiley837 EDF stands for Electric Ducted Fan( the Motors) PNP stands for Plug And Play. That meens that you need to your own reciver and transmitter and Battery. Check out Hobbyking they have the RTF (Ready to fly version) That meens that all is included transmitter and battery and so on. Remember when you buy this that don't fly for more than 5 min at time.
você usou a configuração elevon para este avião como vejo no video,o avião decolou com esta configuração?eu conseguir reverter um dos servo do profundor sem ter um reversor de servo e estar funcionando no modo conversional.se quizer, explico como fazer!
Also - check the engine leads inside the engine nacelle. On around my 12th flight one of the right engines (I think outboard) gave up. Post crash I found one of the leads had been resting against the back of the motor (the part that spins). It wore through the cable to the point the wire was completely cut mid flight. Horrendous crash - destroyed plane. Perhaps a VTail configuration may have helped me regain control - but not in standard config with no rudder and those small ailerons.
So when's the flight review? You sure elevons are right for this plane? To set up vtail, try sending one lead to rudder, the other to elevator (you may have to try reversing the servo in your dx8 and/or swapping leads). I believe the right servo would go to rudder.
For the nose wheel, set it up on Aux3 then set Mix1 to be RUD>AUX3 with 50% 50% and 0% for the settings.
Now you can steer the nose by both the round right hand knob on your DX8 and/or the rudder control.
@AfghanKnight007 i just increased the elevator movment to almost the double so on take off's she lifts the nose high.. Still run it on Elevon on my DX8 and she's great.. But the EPO is getting tired so i'll gonna put a layer of fiber glass all over the plane and buy new ESC and motors for a 4-or 5 cell setup.. this plane rocks
@Ludwin305 Everything is possible.. But im not sure if this model is the best to put retracts on. If you buy the A320 with two motors there are only two wheel sets and easyer to modify

@Spyro333777 Well i've got retracts ready and wil use springloaded damoers for all the weels if maiden goes well.. I'm working on a 4 cell upgrade too.. but time will show. There are no problem mounting retracts.. mesured it out.. But as i was saying.. time will show hehehe
OK, the sound is awesome! you keep pushing me closer to the "Buy It Now" button. On your control setup, did the manuel tell you to set your controls that way? I would think you would set your controls up like any other 4 channel model.
@PlaneVideoArt Well it doesn't have a rudder So after some search in forum the Elevons was the best choice. But if maiden goes well i will add rudder and flaps on this baby to make her more scale.. Looking for those wheel upgrades but can't find them
@ArcticRc You could just set it up the conventional way (no vtail etc.) by using a servo reverser on one of the leads before it goes into the Y cable (which then gets plugged into elevators).
how much it cost this plane?

I'm also going to put flaps in it too. Just make real looking landings with high elpha nose up approach to run way.

@Spyro333777 I have seen it before.. I really want those landing gears. I'm gonna make retracts and flaps on mine. Great Video
ArcticRc 1 year ago
@ArcticRc I made the nose gear myself and I posted it on rcgroupsDOTcom on how to do it.
Just type: Banana Hobby Airbus A380 on the rcgrp SEARCH box if you are interested.
Retracts is NOT an option if you will run the stock power set-up. It will be too heavy for the small motors.
I just changed my decals to Continental Airlines with added rudder set-up.
You can see the new pictures at rcgroups: replace DOT

@ArcticRc I tried Elevons - I couldn't get it off the ground. Resorted to a standard setup.
