The first set of drums Jackie played were in my backyard they were my brother-in-law's. Jackie always had his practice pad and always practiced. I don't think I will ever see a drummer as good as Jackie Santos... this video doesn't show what he can really do!
Jackie is not only a great player but he is also a great teacher. If your in the Boston area and looking to take your drumming to the next level, seek out Jackie Santos. The man can groove and he will teach you how to do that and then some. If you have studied with him, you know what I'm talking about when I say he is one of the best pocket players out there today.
