I'm an Iowa Hawkeye fan but Northwestern was very fun to watch in 2000. I have to say it. The thing is though, the Hawkeyes played spoiler for the Wildcats possibly getting to the Rose Bowl that year even going 3-9. 2000 was one of the greatest years in college football this decade between it and 2007.

On of the greatest games I've ever witnessed. Northwestern ran that skinny slant route the whole game and Michigan didn't stop it once.

That was the spread offense before it was fashionable. Northwestern football truely innovated college football.
