This is my review on WindSlayer.

When first starting the game you are given a few options to customize your character, and then you are sent into a beginner area much like maple story. Here, you are taught the basic controls and introduced into some beginner skills such as double jump. The ksills double jump, and dash make gameplay very engaging and the AI is much better than any other game i have played really. You don't get damaged by walking into monsters unless they are agressive.

There is a decent selection of weapons and armors you can choose from along with a selection of classes. Warrior, rogue,mage, monk and archer. The game also features two pvp games each with different modes. The only problem i have had with this game is the required 100 WSP ( windslayer points ) required to make the first job advancement. You get these points from pvp, but it is very time consuming as you only average about 5 WSP per round on a good round. All in all, this game is very good.

I find it sad how every 2D MMO Is automaticly categorized as a "maple clone" just because it's 2d, you fight stuff and level up. It's almost as bad as every 3D MMO being a "WoW clone" Because it's 3d you fight stuff and level up.

pirates have dashing. ms also has haste. some MS PS have pvp but it sucks. 2d pvp is garbage. and it's so like maplestory is absolutely ridiculous.

i'd like to add to my last comment that basically what maple did was take one idea and make it better. like having a regular bike that weighs 10 pounds with metal that is much lighter and only weighs 3 pounds.

i say maple story is WAY better than this game. although it is not as laggy i say thats because there is not as many people that play this game compared to how many people play maple. this is like GH and RockBand. even though i think GH is still better but then again it copied having the singer and all that.

This game was made before maple story but licensed into English later. Also this game revolves around pvp later so it is superior to maple story.
