  • What was the song?

  • @vietmaster3945 "Rapture" by iio

  • thumbs up if your watching this with your plasma speaker :D

  • wow thumbs up if you think this is better than justin bebier!!!!

  • that shit is ssoooo popin

  • So that's where my screwdriver went?

  • This is a brilliant invention the harmony is amazing, when I tried it I could only hear "Never Gonna Give You Up, Never Gonna let..", ah well. You should market it. You could make a fortune :)

  • friggin AWESOME

  • The electric arc vibrates the air the same way speakers and your voice vibrates the air. It uses high amount of voltage and is basically a very inefficient 70w Tweeter.

  • Why did you make something so cool play such a gay song

  • I don't get it, is the energy/plasma thing arch making the sound or is it a speaker and the arch works as electrical connection?

  • @Razwithz This is basically lightening happening. You know how you see lights then hear the thunder, this is basically that only faster and coordinated. Since light travels faster than sound, it makes an explosive sound. Based on the amount of electricity flow, is the pitch of the sound. Sound is air particles moving, so all in all, every time a charge goes through, it makes an explosion and since there's so much going at the same time, we hear it has music or which ever else. It's pretty cool.

  • Nice!

  • I.. I.. Must.. TOUCH IT!!!!

  • apparently the sound quality on these things is better than that of a conventional speaker.

  • 1 problem play something with a plasma speaker = autotune instantly well not exactly into a song yet as in just the correction of pitch play a song then its cool

  • lol i dare you to touch it i wonder how well you hand would be cooked

  • wow chidori ?

  • Fake fake.. There is no sound without vibrations, here is just fucking blue thing xD

  • @djplayer93

    You're a fucking retard.

  • @djplayer93

    blue?

  • @djplayer93 lol its real

  • i dare you to pee on it.

  • hmm iiO - Rapture

  • This is much easier to accomplish WITHOUT a Tesla coil. Too much electronics involved in the Tesla version. Use a damn flyback, drive it with a 100kHz square wave, and AM modulate.

    Yes, this is real.

  • dont fuck with tunnelling electrons

  • FAAAAAAAAAKE

  • @legokid123456789ify Your face to

  • It's kurwa impossible!!!

  • InTeReStInG

  • whats the name of the song ?!?!

  • @captpoop22 the song is called rapture by iio

  • wow what a beautiful voice

  • Oh, God, why do u so unbeliving - arc moves a lot every second, and makes noise. If u make influense on this process it wil move like a speaker and sing - everything is simple.

  • its not fake ignorant bitches its called a solid state musical tesla coil if this was fake then how does your radio work this is just a scaled up version of an old school radio spark coil

  • @snikitty12345 Well, this cant really be compared to a radio. Radios use electromagnetic coils for the drivers, which run off AC power (I beleive this is DC, some radios run DC), and the coil moves a cone when power is run through it, and since its set in a magnetic gap, the same forces repel the coil out, and in (alternating current,) whilst this is using plasma. I'm not entirely sure how plasma is able to actually create such accurate sounds, but this is indeed real. And phenomenally amazing

  • they prolly hooked up some sort of ipod..

  • lol at the ignorant bastards calling this fake. Look up Plasma Tweeter. it's real and it's surprisingly not that hard to replicate with a decent tesla coil and an output wire from a soundsource.

  • It is gas. Oxygen (O3). gas travels through a wire? hmmm

  • @analyzingfunny Oxygen is O2........not O3, thats Ozone

  • @analyzingfunny Oxygen is O2. OZone is O3. Lrn2Chemistry.

  • look like sasuke's chidori

  • I don't think that song made any difference but cool that you happened to use an old, obscure one hit wonder that I actually really love. It was Rapture by 101 or 311 or whatevs

  • name of the song please :D:D:D

  • @IBM200 rapture by aio or something like that

  • I wanna put my hand there so i could feel the vibes :3

  • @Scrapari You would be pretty dead

  • @Scrapari yes you weal feal the vibes but you will loose your pulse and your heart will stop beating and you will be paralyzed then die wow those vibes are really strong they pass straight through your heart

  • @diegonikki Daym, those are some strong vibes then

  • they should make one of justin biebers voice, it would go miles......

  • Wait...WHAT?

  • jugal

  • xd fake, in your opinion how does an electric arc to reproduce all the bass you hear? looks like a subwoofer lol

  • Actually its true to make sounds out of tesla coil execpt this video

  • @TakeBackTheWorld no not a fake i did it once it worked

  • @TakeBackTheWorld Must be the work of Beelzebub

  • awesome

  • Tesla's New York and Colorado experiments confirmed for him that

Radiant Energy was bound within the elusive Ether, but could be made

manifest by the creation of an abrupt disruption in the equilibrium of

the ether fractions using one way, high magnitude pulses of a short

duration. This was the key to unlocking Radiant Energy...

  • Lovely and fun and fascinating :-)

  • been around for decades, people.

  • video mt xato by:eu de parauapebas-PA

  • wtf i cant beleive people are doubting this

  • @luatin1589 Well aside me you and a few other smart people there is ALOT of fucking retards.

  • @luatin1589 ikr? i am amazed,and maybe i will do this someday..A-W-E-S-O-M-E!! ^^

  • @luatin1589 nop, it is a real working project ....

  • I thought this was real for a second, until I heard the music.

  • @V3nd3t7a it is real the spark vibrates just as speakers would

  • @luatin1589 I am amazed.

  • @V3nd3t7a Actually it is real, if you have had some physics in school, you should know that this is possible.

Sounds are movements air (expansion and contraction), this electrical arc makes the air expand and contract, so that there are sounds produced; just like a speaker.

  • ???????????????????????????????????????????

  • the electricity is firing off at such a high rate that the air litterally vibrates the air. thus you here sound. naturally it would be a droning sound of vibrations, but in this case the person hooked it up to a very energy amp to fire the electricity from the tesla coil

  • hahahahaaaha nice xd

  • i hav 2 see it 2 believe it so FAKE! in my opinion

  • @moomooandu This is far from fake, many people have made these and done things like this. Search "Plasma speaker".

This is just one of the reasons science and technology are cool.

  • @moomooandu you are a moron.

  • @moomooandu ugh.... its REAL lol.... get off your TV and go see the real world.

  • @moomooandu read a book, its real

  • is this real?

  • =)))))))))))))))))))

  • @TheLushz dude its real if you wanna know how it works message me and dont be a dick and quote ray

  • 0:10 mono>stereo xDDDD

  • this is real lol.

  • name of the song?

  • @Soundlmpact

IIO - Rapture (Tastes So Sweet)

  • was tht ke$ha?

  • @1998samm

pfft, no way it's ke$ha, this song was out way before her.

  • What sort of modulator do you use - the quality is absolutely astonishing!

  • @TheLushz Actually, very much real. Search for "plasma speaker" to see more electric arcs producing sound.

  • can you give me a schematic?

  • How does this shit works..

  • I take that back.

    It's reeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaalllll!!!

  • Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake!!!

  • It works - I made something similar in highschool like 20 years ago (lol). You can also modulate a candle flame (the flame is a plasma). I just never went all out to make any of my projects sound as good as in this video post

  • wat

  • I bet if you place your penis at that arc you would be singing much better

  • AWESOME

  • ok i want this tesla coil speaker in my car ... NOW!

  • Fake!!

  • @Mppgangster225 it is programmed to play music.

  • @Mppgangster225 SO ARE YOU!

  • Sounded Like Miley Cyrus

  • better then justin bieber

  • @saltheboy old

  • this is incredible holy crap !! dang!!!

  • thts fukin killer bad ass

  • who singing this music??? judt esnt to know.....

  • @mahadiputra22 It sounds like "iiO - Rapture (Paul van Dyk remix)", eg: watch?v=17kJYFgEWmA

  • Comment removed

  • Why so many dislikes? Is it cause science whooped your ass in school? This shit is NEAT!

  • cool.

  • so watt the hell is making that music? the little purple light??

  • @TheHotdogjacker

The electric arc is vibrating the air much like the way a speaker would. The clarity of the arc is extremely crisp.

  • @RiderAndKallen but where would the sound come from? the song thats playing hasdifferent beats, waves, and some vocal.. and a perfect beat with no missed steps. is it picking up a radio wave or something?

  • @RussianCommie666 What's going on here is more than likely a song, from an MP3 player or Cd player, is being pumped through a circuit thats increasing the frequency and modulating it, probably using a pulse width modulator. So when this arc is discharging out of the electrode, the user probably increased the frequency of the waveform made from the circuit to above 20khz so you cant hear it, and all thats left is the modulated music frequency. roughly.

  • techno remix?

  • @quangluu96 yea look up nadia video, I bookmarked it like years ago on my page.

  • iio - Mi Amore. Buy the complete disc, the gal has a beautiful voice.

  • I'm puttin this in mah car....

  • Music name?

  • music name? =s

  • fake

  • Lol new stereo.

  • stick your tongue in between for better jamming sensation ;)

  • @TheGarcia350

    Jar jar style.? Lol..

  • it must be real, it was in The Sorcerer's Apprentice movie...lol

  • @leif011 XD you cant believe everything you see nin movies. YEt its real .

  • Tesla has shitty taste in music.

  • @bruhe At least the man was smart ;)

  • @DeadPixel91 yes totally. I just dunno why someone would use this music for a test. Why not the band Telsa lol. ROCK! hahah

  • it's justin bieber singing XD

  • @VinciGT2 Ugh, are you serious? It's Nadia Ali(from iiO), and she's incredible.

  • @zeblith I'm just joking, lol

  • 422 people are tone deaf

  • [iminent=ICZozlR59l2] MY EYES ARE BURNING

  • 422 people got shocked.

  • why say this is fake? study rudimentary tesla electronics...just callup your local tech school and ask them ther...how about that? ask your local tech college wherever you are? wont that solve it? this is not fake.it is routine...cheers..nice vid

  • listen to better music and honor the memory of Tesla.

  • @mchelo18 Yeah,james would have hated this.

  • whats the song it seems like ive heard it before

  • @Brianna4001 i know

  • Wow. Thats a way to make your voice electro.

  • oh thats yust so FAKE,

pleaseee you can hear he standing on diferent places with the radio apparrat!

  • @Deriviado theres only one thing fake on this page and thats your spelling, you clearly havent taken up science

  • @Deriviado

if you think this is fake than you deserve to be euthanized. if you can't understand the basic concept of a Tesla coil, than that is one thing, but calling it fake makes you an idiot

  • @bobyoung53 an arcing sound has a certain frequency, just like any sound from any speaker has a certain frequency.

a song can be played from just one speaker right? and a speaker is only able to generate one sound at a time, just at a fast rate. this arc does the same thing:

it vibrates the air to a certain frequency; if you can abjust the vibration, you get pretty much the same thing as when you have a speaker turned on: they both vibrate the air, which is the sound you hear.

  • Ok, explanation: It's how sound gets from the radio station to your radio and why you dial it in at a certain frequency. You didn't think the music was coming out of the power plug in the wall did you? That power just amplifies the sound. The vibrations are traveling through the air. If you don't understand magnets and electricity, you will still enjoy watching any of the videos about N. Tesla on youtube. Sorry, this one's real and absolutely should be taught in school.

  • It's also called a Plasma Tweeter. I want one.

  • SO...was the girl's voice AUTOTUNED in the orignal?

  • i truly believe this is real...science, some things, you never expect

  • @leanmuscleking so before you start whining why dont you google it.

  • Lame!

  • THIS PROVES TAT LIGHTNING IS PURPLE I WAS RIGHT MOTHER

    ME 1

    MOM 0

  • Song name?

  • @coondogtheman1234 Rapture - IIO.

    Fag.

  • @Razx211

all I asked was for the song info. you don't have to be mean about it Geez.

  • fake but slightly believable

  • @kikbuttproductions you are an IDIOT

  • @SuperRobbertino i am not! but i just find it wierd that music plays when its shooting electricity, it just seems a bit unrealistic
