  • To bad fucking slobs destroy the paint and inside of these fords and the carpet. Atleast you care unlike the rednecks and shit.

  • @lord1night1wish Please don't stereotype, I'm country. I and my family take care of our vehicles. This is actually like my truck I'm restoring. A lot of city people mess up things also, more often than a lot of us.

  • @RSZ3rker I live in Central FLA, most are rednecks with the paint shredded or rusted. Im not stereotyping they are people I see with the old ford trucks like this. If you are country aswell thank you for respecting your Ford truck because most people do not unfortunately..

  • You my friend from a far have my respect great truck, not many people outside of the states care for these beauties.

  • Great looking truck!

  • you need to watch those valve cover the chrome ones are really bad about leaking oil.

  • What kind if engine does it have? 302? or what mine has a 360 big block

  • @tickyscooby46

Definitely looks like an FE. If it is really a hotrod, maybe it's a 428. Teensy valve covers and a HUGE, wide intake are the hallmarks of that series of motors, all cast "352" on the front right side of the block. I'm building a 390 for my '65 F100 rustbucket.

  • I have four of those trucks at my house holy shit it's an American classic all my budy's have one too. Where are ya'll from? I love them but it's just an old truck....

  • I just love this truck. Just one thing, maybe I"m wrong, but is the grill 76-77 not 74?. More so 76 since the "F" badge is on the lower center front fender and the headlight bezels are black and squared. No matter, verrrry sweet.

  • And mine IS a three on the tree!!

  • Love it! I just bought s 74 f100 myself and going to restore it. It's in pretty good condition as is, tho..

  • Not a fan of bed rails but a beautifully done truck.

  • Man! I can't say anything but sweet pickup man. It's truly a classic! But it would be 20 times better if it was a manual on the column!

    But any ways.. I'm jealous!:0

  • Jealous

  • those 74 fords are awesome, my truck is a 74 ford f100 reg cab long box with a 390 in it and i love it

  • i got a 75 F100 thats equipped with a 7.5/460 i love that truck so much lol

  • what cubic inch is the engine bud??

  • it cost 20 dollars to make this video

  • Sweet!

  • Nice video and what a nice truck !

  • Is that a c6 tranny?

  • Cool! I own a 77 Ford F150 with only 90,301 miles on it, 89,910 when I bought it a year ago, I have paper work to proof it's the original mileage, it also has the rare 351/400M, it's set up for a 400M

  • very nice partner...I have a 75 supercab with a 460 i'm getting ready to restore. She's a ground pounder, but i'm a carpenter and use it for work. If I get her that clean, i'd be happy. She was a screamer, but she's sat for a while. Nice work.

  • y do you have to say nice and clean after every sentance

  • It is called a Rear Sliding Window... Nice truck though!

  • ahhh new wheels, nice and clean. and then my pet whale takes a shit on the whole truck

  • wow! That rig is beautiful! Sir, you are a lucky man.

  • I'm trying to buy one of theses with the 390 Engine. Do you still have yours? What do you think it would be worth? Lee

  • haha it must feel funny in britain cause the steering wheel is on the wrong side :)

  • Beautiful truck. I have a '79 F150 Ranger XLT with 184,000 miles on it. And it has the 460 in it. But the motor is weak and low on power. She's just tired and needs rebuilt.

  • @terran420 i just got a 71 f100 sports custom with.... 70 thousand original miles on it!! 300 dollars

  • are you REALLY british? and wtf are the fronts white wall out and the rears not?

  • I just posted a video of my '74 F100 with a 460. Not as nice as this one, but I like it! It's definitely a hoot to drive with that 400+HP engine!

  • beautiful truck

  • i just bought one with two gas tanks, but only the AUX works, how do i fix it so the main tank can work, the guy who sold it told me its probably the fuel selector vavle under the passanger seat? how do i fix please help.

  • It's not a 460 it's a 406

  • I got this car for over 3years ago i wil post a Movie soon

  • This is my car ,this car is not inn uk its inn norway the engine is a 406fe engine theengine is from 1962,5 if you ne about fe engine you noe this is a rare engine

  • i have a big yellow 77 f250. it has a flat bed and a 351 m. i plan on putting in a 528 soon.

  • thats so sweet

  • Very nice p/u. And for the record dodge did make a 360 and a390 but Ford also made a 390. The standard engine would have been a 300 straight six with the 302,390, and460 as options. So all you Hot Rod magazine

mechanics out there do some actual research and save your comments for the animal videos. This is a shining example of American iron. I will be posting a video of my '74 Ranger XLT w/ the factory 460 just so all you Mopar nuts can tell me it has a Toyota motor in it!

  • @gwhand39 I have to restate what I said, the standard engine would have been the 240 I6, then the 300 I6, 302,360,390,and the 460. So again for all you so called experts who rely on your imaginations for you knowledge, Ford also made a 360, and a 390, not just Mopar!

  • @gwhand39 The 460 was never offered in the f100 or f150 only the f250 or f350 had a 460 option.

  • @MrDavidboggs Like I said, I have a '74 F100 with a factory 460,The VIN is F10JRU8X,XXX. If you know how to read Ford's VIN's then you know it's an F100, The J is a 460 Engine Code and the R indicates it was built in San Jose,CA and the U indicates it wa a 1974. It even has the 460 and crossed checkered flag emblems on the sides of the cowl where the F100 emlems would go. I have spoken to several Ford "experts" and they all say this is a pretty rare pickup. Thanks for your comment though.

  • @MrDavidboggs Like I said earlier, thank you for you comment, it made me dig deeper into the history of my truck. Hopefully I will get as many positives on my post (if I ever get it on here) as Mr Crawford has on his fine truck.

  • @gwhand39 i own an old white 79 f250 parts truck and it has a 390 in it. i'm supporting your comment so those dodge know it alls can get their facts straight.

  • Nice rig..where did you get those mirrors? love 'em!!

  • Man i bet these american muscle old vehicles must be a bitch to come by in the UK huh ?

  • Damn nice truck lol i love the interrior. just all round nice truck. What size of engine does it have in it?

  • Beautiful Truck bro, Love what you've done to her. I wouldn't change a thing!

  • @crimson1667. Not all British think as you say. Have you ever lived there??

  • Chuchoprince.. Maybe we should send all of you packin..there's more benefit for you than there is for us for this fucked up relationship between our governments.

  • Comment removed

  • It must suck to fill her up over there.

  • put some N 50's on the back that are about 2" shorter then the front tires and it will sit level with no mods and look more American

is this the good old 390? that came in it i had a 76 and i it was a fun hot rod truck for years till i crashed it drunk on night woo is me :-(

  • You must have put a later grill in it. The grill i has now was only used on 76 and 77 year model trucks. 73 4 and 5 had small horizontal fins in the grill. Nice old Ford!!

  • sweet truck

  • oh yeah all you british just make fun of how shitty are cars over here and then you buy them aand pay to ship them you ppl are most queer

  • want to make it more "americanized" lower it put wider fatter tires in the back... THATS american muscle...

  • I have a 1976 xlt that I had restored. I filled the holes where the chrome was and opted to go without it. Now that I have seen this I wonder if I should put the chrome back on...

  • At 3:10 there is a gaping hole in the corner of the hood......rust proof my ass

  • Awesome truck!

  • thats not a 74 front end looks more like a 76-77 but still nice

  • Nice rig man from an American you got a nice rig there good job bro.

  • Doginstine a 390 is a dodge moter Are you shur it wasnt a 360?? i hate it when people fuck a perfectly good classic ford pickup up

  • @wswear85 you're an idiot

  • @wswear85 you are so right a 390 is strictly a dodge but then again so is the 360 i bet if i told you i have a toyota with a 5.7 motor (not MOTER) you'd tell me it was a chevy would'nt you efffing retard

  • @blueovalmaniac Atleast im not the one who put a piece of shit motor ina a awesome Ford

  • @wswear85 you' re so right a 390 is strictly a dodge engine but then so is a 360 I bet if i told you i had a Toyota with a 5.7 motor (not MOTER) you'd say it was a chevy you effing retard

  • @wswear85 Fords came factory with 390s. Ever seen the movie Bullit for one? Mcqueen's mustang had a 390 in it.

You've probably seen too many old fords with 350s in them and just assumed wrong, but really, do a little bit of thinking and research.

Then again I see you commented yet again and are trying to defend fords and still do not realize a 390 is infact a ford motor that ford put in their own fucking vehicles.

You're giving us ford boys a bad name. Learn or don't have kids please.

  • @wswear85

Go to your favorite search engine and type in "390 FE". You'll find the the Ford 390 is one of the most common FE big blocks Ford made.

  • Beautiful truck, mate. really digg on the black on black. I'm restoring a 77 Ford F100 Custom Longbed. 390 hooker Headers , just started but in great picked it up from a older gentlemen . He said just come get it out the yard. Lucky, just been waiting the right price and free is good for me. ill keep u posted on the progress . I'll be posting updates shortly.

  • Look almost like my dads 75 f100 XLT ranger. It had a 390 V8 in it. Tough to change the one plug in the passanger side back though.

  • bad ass.love the old ford trucks.Nice to see an american big bock being kept alive in england.

  • Sounds and looks great. I'm getting one of these soon, if I can get the money. I love the color though, I definitely know what color I'm gonna be looking for.

  • I meant 4 speed.

  • Nice truck. Mine looks exactly the same except for the bars on top of the bed. Black as well. Did yours originally have vinyl seats? I'm also guessing you dropped a different tranny in right? Mine is automatic. Thinking about dropping a 5 speed toploader in mine sooner or later.

  • is yours a V8 or a V6? Because the one im getting is a in-line 6 280 3 speed.

  • does it work? or is it just show?

  • I am in love

  • im getting a 73 just like this. this is a sweet ride. i will have to do a bit of work on mine. oh by the way, what horsepower is your engine?

  • I've also got '74 F-100 that was my Grandpa's, then my Dad's, and is now mine since he passed away. When my Grandpa had it he upgraded the suspension, rear axle, and transmission to F-350 spec parts and had the engine rebuilt and bored over to, I think, 390ci. He wanted to be able to reliably tow his 25ft trailer, or as you Brits call them "caravan", with the truck. It has no power steering or breaks and the clutch is HEAVY, but otherwise is in like new condition with no restoration.

  • damn id give my left nut for that truck

  • @acres90

    Lol I got a nice '76 Ford F350 I'll sell ya...

  • nice tho, to bad its over there...

  • would be better in america...

  • How did you get it over to England?

  • these trucks are dime a dozen in the usa! and me and my freind have 16! 3 with big blocks, one has a stroker 39o. gas is 2.56 a gallon here in Arkansas!

  • I'm guessing the damn thing isn't licensed for the road, that's why Johnny England was driving around some parking lot

  • Beautiful truck man!

  • hey whats your mpg

  • A real automobile

  • what kind of rims are those

  • trying to live the american dream are we.it looks really good just dont put really gay rims on it or a dumb paint job

  • The F100 sound stout. I don't think the engine is big enough though...

  • damn i bet you got some money to afford the fuel bill for that bad ass truck in the uk...nice ride

  • I bet this turns all the head in the UK! There is something about cars being out of place that increases their cool factor exponentially. My favorite sightings: 1962 Continental in Lucern, Switzerland, 1969 Boss Mustang Osaka, Japan, and 1964 Ferrari, also in Osaka. Now your Ford Truck. Great Job!

  • That sounds bloody brilliant.

  • hey man where the floor shifter come from i got an 71 ford f100 explorer i was lookin for one like that

  • I see you're awfully proud of your new ride and that's completely understandable.

Now quit washing it with a wire brush!

  • very nice ford

  • beauty! you should have a look at my vid, u might appreciate it.

  • I hate shifters with a lock so much lol. Nice lookin truck though, do you get alotta looks driving a ford like that up there?

  • i like the way some reopeons take care of there autos,

  • what size motor you got in that nice truck

  • Nice looking truck

  • Wow a Brit that likes classic Americana

  • Very nice looking example of a Ford truck. Nice trim on the tailgate.

  • NICE! Awesome truck man.

  • truck looks happy.. looks good.

  • So...where's the BUD and CISSY his/her licence plates that go on the rear window??

  • hey , thats my truck . what did you steal it and have it shipped across the pondto jolly ol london

  • Comment removed

  • wow where to start well first the STOPED making the f100 in 1973 and went to the plane ranger

ur exhaust rattles a little (still a nice truck)

    ur mirror arnt stock

and to be a hot rod hit has to be lowered and atleast have comething done to the motor besides the crome vaule covers

wat u need to do is get the 390 engin and not the 360 u have the parts are inter changable drop it 6 inches and put a super charger and blower on it the 4/10 gears or 4/11 gear then u might have a hot rod

  • @handofgod77 Pretty sure my 78 says F 100 Custom on it.

  • @handofgod77 about 10 years too soon there bud..

  • @handofgod77 i seen an 85 f100. the ranger replaced the courier.

  • lol 0:29 sports shifter

  • real nice truck !!!

  • it has a 75 or 76 grill in it not 74

  • LOL. I DIDN'T KNOW ENGLAND HAS THESE TRUCKS!!!

    LMFAO! I can't believe it.

  • rust proof hood? idiot...

  • Ha ha...well - It was rust proof until my Aunt spilt some jolly old tea on there. All fixed now.

  • @shiftedx2 And he was actually right. There wasn't any bare metal so as long as the paint held then it he was right about it being rust proof.

  • @shiftedx2

He's like English or British or something give him a break OK shit bro.

  • i got a sports shifttaaaaaaaaa

  • nice u got urself a classic american pick up hope u enjoy it as much as i enjoy my ol ford and it aint as old as urs

  • are 400 ford motors good??

  • 360,390's, and 429's and oh yeah the good ol straight 6's are the best motors ford ever built

  • YES! its a cleveland!!

  • 390 fe or a 360

the np435 in that truck would suck

slow and horrible to drive, like all the old clunker 4spds

  • I see you installed a '76-'77 Grille.

    Is that a 302?

  • BEAUTIFUL TRUCK!!!!!!!

  • Beautiful truck!

  • Beautiful truck. I love those rims!

  • too bad it's automatic

  • don't listen to the prick below me, glad you appreciate our trucks.

  • i agree. assholes like him are why everyone has such a bad view of americans. american power is american power no matter what part of the world its in. hope you enjoy the truck!

  • Oh Dear...I have to say we all love the American muscle in Jolly old England. It's fine to take it up to London bridge and do burnouts whilst we eat our scones and drink tea in the cab. What a hoot!

  • @mrandycrawford hahahahahaha

I live in America and I give you props for treating that truck with that much respect. There are two best friends a man would ever need a Dog and a Truck,

Hey at least they dont Bitch, and cheat on you hahahahaha

  • @mrandycrawford Top Gear has lead us to find that untrue lol

  • @mrandycrawford lol do you seriosly talk like that or are you just fucking with these pricks

  • @mrandycrawford Thats a nice truck, props for owning it in england!!

  • @shiftedx2 he probably worked hard for it if he didnt he completely deserves to get it repode

  • @shiftedx2 yup it is.

  • nice effy i got a 77 model in australia that im doing up cant wait till ive finished

  • and please take those glass packs off :)

  • quit talking and do a damn BURNOUT!!!

  • I will be the first to complain about the lowered cars looking like shit but I think it looks good to level a truck out usually Fords are a little higher in the rear and I think it looks good to just get the rear down to where the front is! Also it is easier on the front end there is not so much pressure Just my opinion! I have a 1973 F-100 long bed and I am bringing it down 2-3 inches it stops the bouncing in the rear and smoothes out the ride it really makes a big difference in ride comfort!

  • There are two types of lowering jobs, one is the style that a lot of folks here seem to be opposed to, and then there's the old school rat rod/hot rod lowering that actually looks pretty cool on these trucks. It's personal preference just like anything when it comes to trucks.

  • Nice truck. Those wheels look great.

  • Nice job! Just dont lower it, like a stinkin Peurto Rican!
