  • so we meet again 240p....

  • I think it's interesting that a traditional culture, passing on and practicing ancient spiritual methods is said to be "experimenting" with "drugs."

"Experimenting" is something that white people with no connection to any type of tradition do.

  • @seadawg93 ha tradition that is not good for anything unless you want to be a puppet your whole life.

  • @clearpancho

    Really?

    Not good for ANYTHING?

You feel that learning from the experience of those who have come before only results in being a puppet?

I respect your right to your own opinion... have fun with it.

  • @seadawg93 dont get me long you can learn from it but culture derives you to act like everyone else and not persue your own dream. i am sure you can understand that. i just didnt put it in really good words i guess. i am not good at writing i guess

  • Respond to this video... because you dont need culture . you just need your soul and your mind, your being to do everything you know? other things help but all you need is your being

  • seems strange if youre a stranger.

  • In the writeup it says these tribespeople experiment with hallicinogens. It shouldnt be called experimenting if its been part of their culture for thousands of years. The experimenting is over. It obviously works for them.

  • What he is trying to say is that he wants to trip balls.

  • what part of the world is this?

  • @GundamFan360 in the cultural area that is the tropical forest located in Venezuela, South America

  • Would South American shamans start crying if they were tied to a hot radiator?

  • some is noticing, You just have to notice it yourself, ahem! ahem!

  • "bloody battle in the 1930's"

All the shit seemed to happen in the 1930's, as though the forces of evil struck back worldwide...

  • I love it. a native of the amazon rain forest wearing a "cubs " t shirt.

  • i like those people

  • hehe not surprising nobody notices it's just normal...go to festivals, there's people off their tits on all sorts of stuff..and nobody notices because they're all doing the same!

  • Interesting

  • i need help you can get it on net but i want to talk to some 1 on how to take it . im not going to be here much longer can some1 help and get me a phone number so i can talk to some 1

  • @SuperAllport are you ok? what do you need? it's all here for you

  • watching stuff like this makes me love the modern world so much.

    i <3 you internet

    i <3 you electricity

    i <3 you running water

thank fuck i wasnt born in some backward superstitious tribe

  • @southsydney

but if you were an alien race looking at humans, through out our entire lives, what looks more healthy? A race of people how eat healthy plants and meat from mother earth or the race above them who willingly eat unhealthy chemically threated food and drink poison water?

  • @blotto85 i'd look at the unhealthy people and think "wow, they're only about 200 years since industrialisation and they have nuclear technology". Then i'd look at these jungle dwelling fools and think "they're healthy, but they also believe in spirits and sorcery". In that situation no one would choose the backward jungle folk

  • @southsydney

Yeah I believe there is some truth to that answer. Either aliens would see the tribes as crazy drugged up animals, or they would see them as the only good breed of human. If you thought of us as birds they would be the amazon parrot, and us as the street pigeon.

They would see our race with nuclear technology (very likely given too us from them back in the 40's) but with our small brains be unable to control it's power destroy ourselves with it.

  • @blotto85 But we are not destroying ourselves with nuclear power.

We're destroying ourselves with bureaucracy, equality and the thirst for knowledge with a unsustainable population.

  • @CruelSculpture im guessing you mean inequality right?

  • yes those backward folk, open your mind jeez...

    what do by sorcery?

    there

  • ,empower your self,ifafoundation org

  • man that dude at the end dancing is tripping! Just leave him alone, unless he starts freaking out.

  • @iorost I can already see auras and change them and jugga jugga too bad salvia is illegal in florfida :( cuz some one killed themselves on it! I tryed it once 45X purple and I saw a black hole in the side of my head and just CRAZY stuf it was tight. But I don't do "drugs" know

  • @abbazin102 In fact you 'meant' 'quartz'. Basic literacy would probably help you overcome your strange beliefs and get back in touch with reality.

  • @abbazin102 Say no to drugs! If any of this stuff had any real effect think of the fame and fortune for the scientist who showed that it was real... Do you honestly think that the whole medical community would ignore something that works? Isn't it more likely that witch doctors continue to delude themselves and their desperate, suffering patients as they have done for thousands of years because they have no access to real medicine and no chance or incentive to test their practices properly?

  • Comment removed

  • @asdashopperrr There arereal scientist that show how to do things for free but they are brave, you see with all the money making drugs we make people are too greedy to tell you why they banned the bitter oak tree in 1980, because it doesn't make them money. There are free ways of energy too, but then what will happen to poor PG&E? You see what I mean the top buisnessesvcan't afford to loose they're jobs especially gov funded ones, because they rule the world.

  • @abbazin102 Join the real world, hippie! Please tell me one free source of energy. The scientist who could prove it would win a million dollar prize, because they would have violated a fundamental law of the universe.

  • @asdashopperrr Do your own research or am I your daddy?

And lets say I was for some reason a "hippie" what does that have to do with energy? chinese people are very aware of life force energy and also russia knows about certain energy that would blow your mind. The world is not what you think, please just wake up and explain to me how I can heal breast cancer in hours by my aura healing? or how I'vnever been to the docters or took any medicine for about 6-7 years and I'm way more healthy thanb4

  • @asdashopperrr You know what? The best website I can tell you to go to is

educate-yourself.>org< because it shows you all the real scientist, docters, and natural or non metal dentist. look at natural cures or what ever title iterest you the most on they're page. Bye :) Light&Love

  • lol i think the tribe leader is a fan of sammy sosa

  • Just like our supposed need for oil it’s the investors and corporate business owners that are making money off of our ignorance. The medicine companies. the gas companies buy the patents for alternate energies/ fuels its all right there if your willing to research it. Look up salt powered engines yes salt see how old the idea is. Please do your research now before its too late America!!!!

  • holistic medicine works ive experienced it first hand wile in India. 35 to 40 % of physicians in Germany and Poland use it. why? because it works. in India it is the main form of medicine, what do you think that Americans are the only smart people? the world would laugh at you. the world knows that we are brainwashed its time we know too.

  • @espmetalhead2008 I didn't mean to offend you, I was just shocked by what you said and couldn't believe that you actually believe it. If you 'truly know' that Western medicine is the main cause of death and I 'truly know' that it isn't, how will we found out who is right? Perhaps large scale experiments, follow ups, tests? Think of how many 100s of millions of people have been saved by vaccination and now imagine if shamanism/homeopathy/crystals had been used instead. Which would u rather have??

  • @asdashopperrr actualy it has been proven that thougts are energy frequencies and querts crystal is so intune with our frequency that it multiplys it and has show to make healthy cells just by intention plus on the other hand you have herbs like B-17 and canaboids that destroy tumors and cancer cells with out creating other cancer and or damaging the heart, liver, etc. You should research real scientist and real doctors who arn't run by a greedy money making goverment that can show you knowledge

  • @abbazin102 Which is more likely, that the whole of evidence based medicine is wrong and people who have never studied anything to do with the human body beyond their 'intuitions' about 'frequencies' are right, or vice versa? Don't you think physicists would be publishing all over the world if new frequencies of energy waves from crystals were found? It is very easy to test these things to see if there is any real effect and all the (fair) tests carried out so far prove that they are imaginary.

  • Comment removed

  • @espmetalhead2008 Which part of Western medicine do you disagree with? Vaccination? The germ theory of disease? Anaesthetics? What alternatives do you offer, retard? Do any of them work? If they did they would stop being 'alternative' and become 'mainstream' or 'proven' medicine. Not everything people tell YOU is true, you have to look beyond anecdotal evidence to find out if something actually works. I can't work out if you are joking or not.

  • gotta love the shaman! He is now one of my favourites!

  • beautiful :)

  • Shamanism is placebo at best. Maybe the shamans believe it themselves or maybe it is fraud, but either way the only stuff that actually works is western medicine. As an object of cultural study it is interesting but it is like any religion, just nonsense.

  • @asdashopperrr For me is a way for them to explain the hallucinations. They don't know how to explain the mechanism of action of this drugs,so an entire mythology is created to give meaning to the experience.Like you said,is like any religion, but in this case you have the drug factor, which makes it far more interesting them mormons, for example.

  • @Zardoz151 I agree!

  • @asdashopperrr

the only thing you can cure with shamanism is your mind

  • @asdashopperrr Shamanism isn't a religion, it's direct experience of the spirit realm. Believe me only last year I wouldn't have thought it possible myself but after having the experience I can only conclude that this is so much more than the mechanism of a drug at work. Check out Graham Hancock -Altered states of consciousness, I think he could explain this phenomena much better than I ever could. Perhaps try it out yourself otherwise its like a life long vegy telling you what meat tastes like.

  • @astralstate73 Members of every other religion feel exactly the same way. People are willing to die for each one. Are all of them wrong and only yours is right? If they are mistaken maybe you are also mistaken. Maybe one of them has actually got it right and you are mistaken and are going to hell. I don't mean to offend you but which is more likely: a hallucination, or access to a new, real spiritual realm?

  • @asdashopperrr No offence taken =). Whatever you believe this to be, you cannot deny the mystery involved in these experiences. Why would I hallucinate a spirit goddess after smoking salvia, without prior knowledge of the link between the salvia plant and this goddess, (check out the Mazatec Indians, they believe that they see the Virgin Mary after ingesting salvia). Like I say, I didn't have any idea of this at the time.. cont..................

  • @asdashopperrr ......Also in another vision I was floating in a void with two beings beside me wrapping me up in a thin film like materiel reassuring me that it was necessary for me being there. Again on later research I read a book on someones encounters with these salvia entities and to my disbelief not only was this vision replicated but other visions I have had were too.

Once you have one of these visionary experiences, it becomes very clear where religion originates from.

  • @asdashopperrr i don't blame you for having this opinion. we have all learned to block this primitive side of our brains. i am not saying "primitive" to mean less developed, but this side of our brains seems more connected with a kind of energy modern religion and figures developed from our own human brain and senses have deemed silly. but what about doctors near primitive cultures who send patients to shamans, because a bone won't heal if the doctor sets it, but it will if a shaman prays.

  • @johnnywhiteshoe What about cases where people have been given sugar pills rather than real medicine and gotten better? We should always give them sugar pills rather than trying to treat them, since it has worked sometimes and less effectively than real medicine! My point is that real medicine can be proved to work beyond the placebo effect. Shamans (and similar) only work because people believe that they will, but proper medicine can be proved statistically to work better than this.

  • @asdashopperrr there is a difference between medicine, and Medicine, Spiritual Medicine, heals the soul, so it can heal the mind, so the mind can heal the body, medicine may make you feel better, but spiritual medicine can heal all areas, it works in a wheel, not all people understand this

  • Academics are finally looking at these practices without dismissing it as the ravings of madmen; scholars are now looking at shamanism in the context of its widespread cultural area and functions. It is after all truly ancient, found in the rock art of the Siberian people before they migrated to the Americas, which looks a hell of alot like the art and culture of Na-Dene people on the Great Plains.

  • YA, listen to TheAncientMind.

drugs are processed in a lab,

    not grown in dirt.

  • shut yr neck

  • Correction, hallucinogenic plants not drugs.

  • @TheAncientMind hallucinogenic food

  • @TheAncientMind And what makes you think a plant cannot be a drug? Marijuana, Cocaine, Herion, Opium, Alcohol, Peyote, heck... Caffeine: all plants, or derived from plants, and ALL drugs.

  • @wendighoul you have to be the most ignorant person ever. a "drug" is chemically made, retard. because they're "illegal" doesnt make them "drugs"

  • @TwEaKROX NO, you are the ignorant one, so fuck off! A drug is ANY psychoactive or mood-altering substance, and some that I listed, like Peyote for example, are not "chemically made" (a useless term, everything that has psychical form is made of chemicals, and therefore "chemically made") but are in fact just dried and very simply processed plant material. Only assholes like you that think "chemicals" have any real scientific meaning, it is a term made up by ignorant hippies.

  • lol fo the shaman XD

  • Hahaha

  • 4:27 - 4:30 he sounds like Lil Wayne

  • lmao !

  • when certain drugs make you sound like

    RURM RURM RURM

  • lol, he kind of does.

  • hahahahhahahha... lmao!

  • @MGODirtyDozen HAHAHHA

  • @MGODirtyDozen AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH LMFAO!!!!!

  • 4:14 "What really strikes me, apart from the spectacle of a man who, to be honest, looks like he's lost his mind, is that no one else is taking a blind bit of notice."

I wanna be that guy, with a hammock made of songs strung between my ribs and nobody thinks it's weird! xD

  • At 2:56....the guy's name is Sosa???

DO I HAVE TO POINT IT OUT.

  • Could you point it out for me? I don't know what you are talking about my friend

  • LOL...Sammy!!!!!

  • His wife is always smiling because he is using a corked bat.

  • First off its not a drug every human being has it in their brain, 2nd you do it every night when u sleep.

    Dumbass

  • coffee is a drug and addictive

  • Hate people that say "drugs are bad, dont do drugs"

DONT KNOCK IT TILL YOU TRIED IT!

and learn a thing or two before making rediculus statements!

  • and so are you...XD

  • Very strange.

  • strange only to people who do not understand

  • its like a disney film...you ask a question and this man burst out in song haha

  • The new guy was taking a formal instruction about the shaman's world, when...

    A real "xamã" steps up.

The new guy noticed him, but did not understand the scene.

The xamã is a crazy man to us. He lost his mind into the xamã's spiritual world.

It is funny how the new guy have no idea that he was watching the real deal while listening to a bunch of historical crap.

  • it's their reality

  • these peope live much better lives that western people, they arent slaves to work and money issues.

  • Better is a word subject to relativity..

  • it is all relative

  • Yeah well they are slaves to survival too. I agree with the money issues though. The truth is we're all slaves to mother earth. If we don't take care of the planet it won't take care of us.

  • @BestVideosEver01 The grass always looks greener on the other side, fool.

  • @BestVideosEver01 they aren't slaves to the monetary system!!

  • totally

  • @BestVideosEver01 xlent point! I would say the entire world now! So called civilization!

  • @sardarshamas thats right so called civilization I love these videos it just teaches us that the weapons got more advanced and man does not need to be taught to war they need to be taught not to war...

  • @lucy9359 Man has become too arrogant to learn! Any type of man is so warped in his own quagmire of deceit that he thinks he is either the eternal victim or the superior! There is no one willing to listen and learn! Sad but that is man! The arrogance of man is entirely due to his inflated ego in this age of individualism where govts have become war machines and the masses fodder for the fuel!

  • @BestVideosEver01

They just get chased by jaguars and die from disease at age 30. LOL

  • @BestVideosEver01 we only have just begun to realize we are for the most part slaves to the big issues aren't we??? we can't live without debt because it costs so much to live...

  • that man chanting his mantra at bruce gets very annoying imagine your having your peaceful moment after a drug inducement hallucination with them and he comes along going manamanamana ,i would punch him in the face lol.

  • "Shut up fool, I'm tripping here!" lol

  • lol

  • It is my contention that what it is that we

seek for in earnest is the lost link to our

Ancestral past, hence our fascination with these enchanting people, from the point of view of our

"civilised" society, shamenism alone can reveal a plethora of knowledge on medicinal plants alone, and as we all know they are gravely under threat from deforestation and the incroaching outside world.

It is time to act, not talk any longer

we save ourselfs by preserving the integrity

    of eco systems as such.

  • always stealing knowledge and never returning anything but destruction

  • damn. i wana be like that guy.

  • i dont think he was disrespecfl at all ,i dont know wear ure getting that

  • I'm really interested in anthropology, it really is a pity that more westerners can't see the merit in foreign cultures. people see them as primitive and charming but these are complex cultures some with completely oral language with many more words than the english language.

  • you are quite right. They are not backward, as industrial & technical society often thinks. We have become backward. A good read for anyone

interested is "Mutant Message Down Under" by

Marlo Morgan. She spent time alone with

Aborignes in Australia. Very primitive & very very wise. Namaste. Peace, light, LOVE

  • Re Marlo Morgan ... Or maybe she didn't?

In 1996 a group of Aboriginal elders, seriously disturbed by the book's implications, traveled to the States and confront Marlo Morgan about her book and to try to prevent a Hollywoodisation of it.

She admitted publicly that she had faked it but this received little publicity in the USA. The Aboriginal people are very angry that this book continues to be promoted and sold widely because it gives a very false picture ....

  • ......of their traditional culture and of their current political and social status. This is very damaging to their very real struggle for survival. Cultural theft for self promotion and profit. It would serve readers much better to make a study of the true wisdom and insights available from traditional Aboriginal cultures which require respect and patience, not voracious greed and speed.

Better still, a study of their own white culture.

Taken from Chris Sitka's "Cultural Mutilation Uptop"

  • The good read for anyone interested is Neither Wolf nor Dog by Kent Nerburn. Or read anything by Sherman Alexie.

Stay well clear of "new-age authors" claiming to have been told the secret of an ancient tribe lost in the jungles somewhere..it is modern day P.T. Barnumism. Money is at the root and its disrespectful.

  • It is good to know that, there is still people live different then us.

  • yeh, misses it entirely. pity since many people with much more respect and understanding never get to mean an amazonian shaman.

  • hahahahahah that shaman guy is messed up

  • LMAO, he made me giggle :)

  • I have to agree, this video started off interesting, but then as soon as he is in the presence of the shaman, he is totally disrespectful. He just doesn't get it! It's unfortunate.

  • i wudnt go as far as totally disrespectful id say he was stepping on toes a bit though 4sure

  • this is coooool

  • bruce parry is a bad ass mofo

  • Brrrrruce, what a disrespectful twit he is.

He said he wanted to know about there shamans, and gets instant response, but reacts like the fool white man.

  • he a chance not everyone can get and he blew it

    killing it for everyone

  • I want some episodes of "Going Tribal" posted.. Haven't seen that show in a long time.

  • i like these documentaries, alot ;D

  • bruce went there for free drugs

  • u make me laugh

  • That would be so hard not to laugh if I saw that guy at the end

  • bruce parry is a ledgend

  • I really like these documentaries, when are they going to be available in DVD? My niece (in Spain) would enjoy them so much!

  • he does such a good job at making friends. the UN needs bruces. kofi seemed pleasant but bruce makes progress.

  • Bruce smoked ganja with ithese guys.

  • ...Any chance of seeing the rest?
