I love your horse!! I have a black and white paint and all those people who say paints cant jump are soooooo wrong! I will hopfully be going to greenwood this year! I will be doing green as grass though cause I havent shown in forever!

I thought the riding was quite lovely, myself. Your horse keeps a beautiful frame throughout the course, and the pace and distance were excellent, too. Critiques can be helpful, but not when it comes from those who think they know more than they do. However, many riders have a bit of an "instructor mode" and it's just one of the things you have to put up with in the English world of riding.

It's funny you say that. I'm notorious for my "instructor mode" yet I have no problem keeping my fingers from typing things on YouTube. And as you know, there are MORE than enough bad riders on YouTube - people who actually deserve to be critiqued.

There's "instructor mode" and then there's manners. :)

You're horse looks awesome! I really wish that I could get my horse to jump like that but he's been having issues jumping lately. Yeah - Kelly [girl riding] did Holly HIll [once - we lost a very dear friend there, once, and have not gone back] and I'm pretty sure she's done Meadowcreek. I haven't been to HH, but I have been down to Meadowcreek, myself.

Going to a schooling day at Greenwood tomorrow. Never actually showed there, just done schooling days lol. We usually do the HTs at Meadowcreek though, but we always wonder about how Holly Hill is. I do beginner novice so how would you compare Holly Hills XC course with Greenwood and Meadowcreek? Just wondering :)

By the way, youre riding is great!! What a nice, clear stadium round.

ur a good rider. u have good position and have your stirrups relatively long but not long enough for them to hit the poles (OUCH - i hate it when that happens), and you stay in 3 point seet around the corse as well. keep up ur good work.

awesome job. your horse's canter looks like a dream! and it's awesome that you can ride over jumps with long stirrups- it means that if you lose them you stay on. (i have incredibly short stirrups to stay in two-point!) you have the best saddle contact i've seen so far! keep up the good work and you'll make it to rolex! ;)
