Wow I'm so glad i found this video. This kid is absoutely AMAZING! I just love to see raw young talent like his, He's got that same natural talent Jonny has and it shows Jonny is such a huge inspiration to him. They both seem so pleased to be playing together.SO cool he just plays that guitar like it's a second skin..Go Cole! :D

This kid is simpley amazing in all categories. You see, there will always be people like me who hate people like him because he is just given everything. He has the best gift to ever have and the future of a celebrity. It's just unfair how someone can be gifted all of this. Just my opinion. Don't say it sucks, because I already know it does.

there's always going to be people that have some negative pessimistic comment to say, but bottom line is that this is a really awesome video. that is what music is about, thats what the blues are about. i could feel them through this monitor and i wasn't even there. Listen to the crowd, the passion in the whole thing, it's there, it really takes off around 2:10.......great video

This kid is tallented, but I hope he learns that sometimes less is more. Its hard to compare Johnny Lang to a kid so young and with so much less experience, but Johnny barely even played however you could just hear the soul in his playing; in every simple note.

Personally I just like the music. I think its awesome the way Jonny Lang was jumping up and down in praise to Cole. Its amazing to see a kid cranking out blues on the guitar. There is no need to fight about it on YouTube. Everyone has to throw in their two cents and tear someone else down because they have not had the same break in music,or no talent and a myriad of other reasons. Just enjoy the music and chill the fuck out.

A lot of other people can play better. I got 40 years on this kid and can STILL appreciate him for what he is at the moment of his life. You can't expect him to have huge theoretical knowledge, or technique experience. The crowds DO like it when a kid comes up to play, no matter how bad. Lang is an example. He was 17 and working with top talent. Got exposure, tried to hit the big stage and has had a problem in getting well known. This kid will learn more and more and get better. Good Job.

Jonny just hasn't gone mainstream is what you mean I think. He could sell out and write a pop song and be a mega-star overnight. I hope he never does it. WE all know who he is right?

Hey bud. Not exactly. What happens is a couple of things. If a kid is 17 (or even 13) and is good, they need to bring themselves to the arena, little by little, like a prize fighter. Otherwise, you run the risk of burning out your career before you get started. At 17 a guy is considered great "For his age", but when he hits 22, he's "just another guitarist", unless he writes or buys HIT tunes. It ain't selling out. Bob Dylan is a perfect example. Clapton, too.

I was there! It was amazing! The kid started off a little shy but as he and Jonny played and the crowd got into it, Cole was smiling from ear to ear. Jonny was having the time of his life, you can see it in his face. The whole thing gave me chills!
