By that time Saudi had no say whatsoever as the US military presence was already overwhelming. The US now control the oil in Saudi..

When Saddam was planning the Gulf War did you know that Iran offered to help Saudi Arabia but the only condition was NOT to let the US help them. Saudi declined because they were convinced by the US that it would be better for them. The US helped Saudi but instead of pulling out their troops they established them there. By that time Saudi had no say whatsoever as the US military presence was already overwhelming. The US now control the oil in Saudi..
