Erotic Dreams, like Chorus of Tribes, gained substantial recognition when it was marketed as an Enigma bootleg, originating from eastern Europe. Temple of Love was in fact originally released in 1998 from Dino Music in Holland. Very little is said about the creators of the album, only that their last names are Dekker, van Es and Papen. Ruud and Rob were the guys behind the group Peru, Hollands equivalent

Yes, and it was credited to a group called "Erotic Dreams Projekt". Thanks for the additional information that helps fill the gap. The fact that this "bootleg" simply made this music available, albeit credited to the wrong group, doesn't diminish the beauty of the entire album! From "Temple of Love" to "Respect (Your Relations)" the entire set of tracks are beautiful!

You know, I really like this music as music goes. Still, it isn't up there with Enigma. Delightful as it is...I can only comment on the tune itself. Good stuff...yet, doesn't have the feel of Enigma...which is way beyond musical.

of course they would use drums because drums and low beats like that affect our sexual organs and the areas of our brains that deal with sexual stuff. Michale Cretu the creator of Enigma is actually Romanian like me:) However, I have seen pictures of him and suspect he has some gypsy blood. Gypsies are essentially from India mixed in with the European Romanians. This may be why his music often has an "Indian" feel to it, although perhaps he is not gypsy at all. Who knows?

Erotic Dreams bootleg is quite strange... I think Michael Cretu stays behind this "album".

There is composition "Respect (All my relations)". Back in 1991-1993 (eah, good times...) I had an audio cassette (pirated, ofcoz, it was in exUSSR!) with Enigma's album. And after main tracks there was an additional track (audio-pirates made this to fill remaining space on tape)... I'm looking for that track 17 years already. So. "Respect (All my relations)" contains several pieces from that track!

the offical name of the album is Temple of Love by Erotic Dreams and yes they are dutch two members also played in the group peru and made a hitsong called Aurora

I think it's a duo with Enigma feat' Deep Forest. The original song by Enigma was called Voices in the Dark? But this is a different version of Voices in the Dark, called "Erotic Dreams". That's how I got it, I hope this helped you in any way.

The piece of music is in fact produced by a group called Erotic Dreams (Netherlands) who made the album back in 1998. Bootlegs of this album were tagged with Enigma's name because of the similarity to its music. This is not Enigma.
