@MrB0153r That's because kids have a much easier time becoming Super Saiyans. Young kids are mostly pure hearted already, but they would be even more pure hearted when raised by pure hearted parents. Goten and Trunks also saw the others transform so they would've been able to copy a bit. I guess becoming a Super Saiyan gets more difficult as years go by. You know what I mean? Another thing, Nappa and Raditz would've had a much harder time transforming than Goku and Vegeta.

Both are pretty terrible reasons, though, considering the things usually at stake in the fight.

There is also that sense of honor that people lost these days. If you want a deserved victory, you wait and have a clean fight, not surprise the other when he's on his weakest point. This is kinda the main point in the fights throughout the series: to fight with dignity and honor (at least from the Z-fighters point of view):p.
