You're right about the traction...I thought I did the right kind of burnout for the M/T radials, but you can hear them break loose on the video. Doesn't seem right only turning a Cleveland up to 6000, does it? ;) Well, this old engine has been going since about 1992, so time to do another, for sure.
It's beggin for more rpm. I had a 4V Clevage in a 69 Stang, and it did a 13.42 at 105, so you should do a whole lot better with the 4.10s. I had 4.11 & a minispool. I shifted at 6400. I'm sure traction will be a bit of an issue.
Yeah, it's not that quick. Pretty mild engine, for a Cleveland, big old C6 transmission, with little 3.55 gears. If I do put the other, nastier engine in it, it will get more stall, 4.10 or bigger gears and so on.
