    Father Adam

  • They seriously needed an experiment to find out a baby was gonna cry without his daddy??...

  • fuck you for waisting my time with this video

  • THE DARKNESS IS IN THE BACKGROUND MUSIC!! it makes anyone cry!

  • Lulz.

  • i hope he don't like justin bieber when he grow up....

  • damn children have deep effect on their emotion when their loved ones leave them. Not only in child even adult people does that like when someone loved ones leaves them they became distressed diffrence is that when they became old they usually cry on public.

  • what the fuck is with this music!!!!!!!!

  • this experiment has to do with Bowby's theory. He had this idea that young children are attached to their mothers in different ways. and to find out, whether they were securely attached or in another style, he made this kind of experiment which is shown in the video: he recorded the way, children react to being left alone in a strange environment - with a stranger - and how they react to the reunion.

  • How did the ethics board respond to your initial proposal? Seems like a tough one to sell :)

  • Que fofinho

  • awwww! poor baby!!~

  • Ethics are overvalued, if zimbardo or milgram were born in this century we wouldn't had very very valuable information and insights of the human nature.

We are becoming too oversensitive, too politically correct, too pussified.

We are so worried that kids can be scarred for life that we absolutely overprotect them from any possible stress. That is precisely what is so wrong, the focus must be to teach kids ways to healthily COPE with stress

By overprotecting you are just training chronic pussies

  • @quelorepario, your comment had nothing to do with the video at all :-|

  • Thats not a music reasearch clip, it's an emotinal detachment reasearch on the behavior of small children when not occomponied by their parents. Thats why he stoped crying when daddy showed up.

  • hahahahaha

  • well if you work in a daycare you see this all the time! lol

  • that kid needs rock and roll seriously

when im in a club or pub and shit like this gets played, i actually feel stressed and agitated and need to get out of there as soon as possible, so i understand how this might affect someone else

i also believe that the song in this vid was just overlayed over footage from an actual experiment and NOT actually an experiment for an infant's behaviour towards shit music in an unfamiliar setting

  • bullshit hack psychology test.

  • That is NOT a 3 year old...He's like, 11-16 months old...

  • @KenniTheMonkey I think he means 3rd Yr university . . .

  • huh....if this is real doesn't it break the ethical code of psychology?

    Little Albert.

  • @fasthandsz It's not like he's torturing the kid, it's just pure observation. Besides, kids experience this kind of stress almost everyday. The story of Little Albert on the other hand, is completely different.

  • aw makes me sad

  • What an awful music!

  • @Ioriotho I HAVE TEN MUSICS

  • Well of course the baby would want to go to his primary caregiver--he's developed a (paternal) bond with his father through touch and holding.

  • LOL BUT MEAN GROWN UPS

  • I actually start crying when I hear this music too.

  • how is the music stressful

  • Do you enjoy this kind of music? Cause it's kind of like having a bunch of annoying noises playing at once WHILE you have a massive migraine.

  • this creeps me out for some reason.

  • LOL!!! I don't blame him for disstressed over that music it was stressing me too! LOL!

  • my 2 year old thinks he needed a soother (himself does not get one, his younger sister does)

  • so cute.

  • sign of good dnb track that.

I recall my niece saying some dark abstract dnb I was listening to "made her feel sick", made me chuckle.

The same effect occurs when I listen to it, and I'm 26. Except I enjoy it deep down. Note the blue jumper and sharp side parting.. Try beginning the set with a little Fabio.. at a steady 170bpm, 56db volume.. and make notes.

  • how about the mother picks up the baby des that calm him down?

  • AWW!!, EVIL GROWN UPS....

  • NICE VID

  • That kid sure loves his daddy. What was with the music?

  • clipz - new generation

  • If this cut doesn't make you cry every time, I feel sorry for you.

  • The kid just thinks he's being left.

  • this experiment shows that the music didnt do shit... that baby wanted to be with his dad.

  • you are dumb.

  • This is just Ainsworth's experiments with clipz played over the top, bet the infant wasn't even subjected to clipz!

  • nice one clipz. now look what you've gone and done. hope you feel pleased with yourself.

  • I think it depends on the kids. My nieces dont mind drum and bass. Never did.

  • Am I the only one who thinks the little kid running for his dad was cute or am I getting old?

  • LOFL funny shit

  • Does your IRB know that sensitive data involving a child is up on youtube?

  • omg really. no. he could get banned or something? could that happen?!?!

  • Are this child a test rabbit. What do you guys pay??

You should be all ashamed, you dont have to test this on children, test it on yourself instead. Animals!

  • lol?

    test it on themselves?

lets get this straight, they want to understand children better and understand their behavior in an unfamiliar setting so...they go somewhere without their parents?

    how does that work?

oh and the child wasn't even harmed, he won't even remember this an hour from when it happened, grow up.

  • Plus, this happens every day in America and no one is calling parents animals for leaving kids at a daycare. Besides, children in daycare are more sociable than those who aren't because they've been forced to depend on other care givers other than their parents.

So, really, that experiment is going to have a positive effect on the child.

  • hahahahahahahahaahah

    hahhahaahahahahaahaha

  • this is infant psychology

these experiments help us go in depth of what is going on with the infants

without these experiments we wouldnt know simplest things like children perform better academicaly when exposed to classical music opposed to other music.

these children arent treated like animals their parents are there for support and they go home to their families just like any other kid

experiments take like an hour a day for a week its not torture its perfectly reasonable

  • this is why everyone cant be a psychologist because of dumb ppl who think its cruel. Clearly that guy is not a cognitive thinker right.

  • i meant critical

  • So techno makes people cry. Nothing new.

  • drum and bass......

  • im in a farmiliar setting and techno makes me want to cry

  • drum and baaaasssssss

  • @krissy4nik Shame its drum and bass.

  • the kid dresses like bill gates.

  • aw!!!! someones on a come down!

i think baby needs some dubstep, Nicky Blackmarket tore it up last and kid cant handle jump up.

    bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessss

  • Investigation into the effect of Dj Clipz on infants behaviour in an unfamiliar setting.

Findings - Extreme distress displayed until the primary caregiver returned and provided comfort from the stressful stimulus.

  • @crudburger With all due respect mate, you had to do research to know that?

  • @saqib09 yes
