How to fix maplestory hackshield errors

just go to the Nexon file folder and click on Gamelauncher and it should play fine. I had the same problem and just did this and it worked fine and everything.

-you go to the user (what ever you named yourself) and then go to desktop and gamelauncher and right click to run as admistrator and you might have to go to "Nexon" folder because i have in my desktop!

I have never been on Maplestory because of this :( It looks really good but I don't know what to do, because I AM registered otherwise I wouldn't be able to log in duuuh. That's what I get. I've tried replacing the Hshield file with a clean one, I turned off firewalls, I updated Windows (I'm on Windows 7), it's allowed in my firewalls, and I tried editing the hosts file in notepad (but it wouldn't give me permission), so I have no idea what to do.

At least you people are told what the problem is... My Maple won't load at all, HShield doesn't even start loading!!! On both the website and .exe, I click them, get prompted about making changes, it loads for like 3 seconds, then stops. Nothing in "processes" has anything to do with Maple. I've tried running as admin, I've tried turning off the firewall, allowing maple through the firewall, and nothing works at all. *sigh* I'm trying to play on my Win 7 x64 laptop. Any help would be nice!

Okay so I un-installed and re-installed MapleStory, so everything should be fresh and new. It totally works on my Laptop Windows XP, -BUT- it won't load on my Desktop Windows 7. Before the latest patch was released, it was working fine, but then after the patch, the Hackshield won't even load. Do you have any ideas?

This is what i do: I start Maplestory.exe, the news thing pops up and i click "PLAY", then HackShield comes to the right bottom corner and it loads like 2 bars and then it stops, i wait like 15mins and then this pops up: HackShield: Update Error (0x30000090). The file u downloaded should be a zip file u can extract those, right click it then press 'extract to'.

but tomorrow the big aran update will be done, so just w8 for it to finish.

Everything should be updated in the proses.
