What the hell are you talking about? You don't need to have any piano skills to join the ensemble, you just need to have demonstrate musical talent on any instrument.
actually they were on the soundtrack for "traffic" but the scene got cut...Anyway, if you have the DVD, look in the deleted scenes and you'll hear it in the background.
I thought Pauline Oliveros was on the edge. This ensemble is.

This is amazing. Wow,what the piano can do. And speaking of wow, replayed Duacle. It's one of my favorites. Backwards?

I wonder if any of them can play piano?
Sausahga 2 years ago
they all can play piano very well, lots of people dont make the cut because they arent good enough at piano
N8wil09 2 years ago
Just a thought: Maybe not shutting out anyone whose ability to play piano is substandard or non-existent is a poor idea?

Yeah, poor piano, so open and exposed. It's like it's on an operating table and they're playing with its innards. Or like a corpse in a morgue.
Ok, creeping myself out now. :-)

Am I the only one that thinks this looks creepy as hell?

notation looks no different than a chamber music score....we use colors and numbers above notes to mark which parts of a measure each player plays.
well...i should say "they" not "we." i graduated last year. sad....how i miss rehearsing and performing.
