When compressed in open air without confinement this powder can easily produce a thunder clap. I did a loose powder demo for theatrical effect. We weren't interested in causing panic setting off car alarms --- we did that later with a smaller amount. Big oops...

what al powder did u use.when i use 3 micron it makes a huge bang....but that looks much nicer its more impressive even tho it doesnt sound like a thunder clap
