It's funny how some of you keep talking about the "bit" in the horse's mouth when EVERY single horse I see on tv,film and those ridden by police have a "bit" in their mouth. And then of course there's the self-righteous Western hypocrisy about the abuse of a horse when 750,000 PEOPLE will be DEAD by Christmas in East Africa- even though averting the disaster is CHEAP as chips...hmmm...!

@hoofmanw I use gag bits but I don't swing of them like this idiot does. And drop nosebands are good if 1)the horse needs one and 2) they aren't tied over the nasal cavity. I've seen too many horses throwing their head because they can't breathe properly.

Can anyone explain what the point of that "movie" was? All it showed was someone who has no horse sense and no balance, staying on by holding onto the horse's face. The pain and horror in that horse's eyes was disturbing. How can anyone think that is good, or that he is a good rider? It is totally pathetic.
