Dynasty Warriors 6: Lu Xun MM1 gameplay (part 1/2)

Lu Xun is known to be a speedy character in the DW games. I heavily relied on his Death Kill in the DW3 series. He dropped a bit in DW4, rose a little in DW5. But he shines in DW6. I love his Fire Attack on the Camps. So cool! Similar to Zhuge Liang and Zhen Ji!

I miss Ling tong. he was such a good character with his nunchuka. Now they give him a separ. AND HE DOESNT EVEN GET HIS OWN MOVE SET!?!?! how dare they clone him with ma chao

yes i have a question, is dynasty warriors 6 like dynasty warriors 4? because in dynasty warriors 4 (dw4) they don't do "the legend of......" , but in dw5 they do, so if i play..Gan Ning in dw6, would i start playing the first battle ever in the han dynasty? (the yellow turban rebellions)

Gan Ning has no part in the Yellow turban rebellion on DW6. If i remember correctly he starts off in the Battle of Chi Bi

To be frank, DW6 has alot of difference compared to the old ones.

But you must admit the combos are nicer now. For one thing, Lu Xun with one sword might be sexy. Just look at his power combo. it rawks against officers! Just watch them bounce around.

Been waiting for the price to go down, to ask someone this. Is DW6 worth buying? Or should I just save my money till may and get Empires, because I had DW5 Empires before I got DW5, and I found that DW5 was more enjoyable and Empires was quite repetitive. I also don't know if DW6XL will be downloaded content for the Xbox 360, or an actual game.

It is worth buying, but doesn't neccessary mean it its better than DW5. Quite alot of people are upset with some of the weapon changes.

On the whole. it has better systems installed now... renbu was a cool idea and lets the user control his combos. The empires and xtreme legends have more story modes so they will be more worth it, but as you said, it was repetitive.

i think you should get empires first trust me since in dyansty warriors 6 and in dynasty warriors 6 empires characters have the same moveset so its better to get empires

Every Dynasty Warriors is basically the same,with some or many changes.

Only Dynasty Warriors 1 is completly different.

empire doesnt have a musou mode. Only the normal and Xtreme Legends have it.

it seems dw is trying to opt for more tradional weapons and fighting styles but it looks like alot of the characters have lost their crowd clearing moves. Besides when were dw games ever really historically accurate when it came to gameplay...bring back the old shit lol
