I had a geeky question about this motherboard. If the pipeline limit is to 36 then that means if 4 graphic cards are used, each of them are gonna be using x8 pipeline instead of the full x16?? how much less of quality will ill be getting from a graphic card that uses x8 pipelines instead of x16? I have been researching this motherboard for almost a year now, and this seem to be the only thing bothering me. Other than that, it sounds like a great motherboard.

It's too expensive right now, and just not worth it, unless you have several thousands of dollars to throw around.

If you go with the current 775 socket/ x16 hardware, you can get a very decent system, one that runs any game at highest settings, for under $2000.

Why use a 4X SLI mobo for two 295's, when it's designed for four 285's? It doesn't take that motherboard to do so, as you can use any SLI motherboard for it (that's sort of the use with the internal SLI of the 295, that you can use it as ONE card and have quad SLI with only 2x PCIEx16)

Have a look at the Silverstone Strider ST1200 ATX Modular 1200-Watt Power Supply. Bit expensive though but it will be enough power for everything you would ever need.

Also just check out tigerdirect and newegg for parts and other PSU.

Yes...GTX295's can be matched in SLi for quad core performance...regardless of the manufacturer. You have to ensure that the GPU and mem spec used on the cards match exactly.

I.e you can match an EVGA and a ASUS GTX295 for Killer Quad performance.
