I don't know if Thaksin gained money illegally but I do know he was very rich before he even entered politics in Thailand. Whatever the case, why not spend the money? Why earn it, steal it or get it illegally and not spend it? That would be silly. It's important to let money circulate in order to get over the effects of the credit crunch. I wish he'd spend some in my noodle shop.
