Mention that the speed of the video has been modified I think... but that's how it feels like. I had travel on the TVG, 200 km/h and no sound, no vibration, pure joy. Thanks
@SURFSIDEPOTRERO The video is unaltered. I uploaded straight from my camera to Youtube. Lucky, I never actually got to ride on the ICE. I'm sure the TGV wouldn't be much different...
@Altair00011 Actually, because the train does not enter the station loading line, it remains at least 7 yards or about 6.4 meters away. I was safe and it was fun!
@Altair00011 No, that's forbidden. Maximum speed to pass a platform is 200 km/h. 230 km/h is possible in some cases. But this is around 300 km/h amd you'll never see an ICE pass a platform that fast.
Hi there. There's a mistake in discription- it's not in use in Russia at all. Unfortunatly we don't have yet an infrastructure to use such a hi-tech toys.
But as far as i knows Russian railroads ordered for testing one tran set in a route between Moscow and Saint-Petersberg. It should be sort of ICE but modified for winter conditions. The name of it should be "Sapsan" (for bird peregrin)
It is also modified for the different Russian tracks. It has been developed be Siemens Trasportation and is called Velaro Rus. Velaro is the Name off the Siemens Highspeed trains which are based on the ICE 3, but the ICE is not a Velaro.

It is so dangerous to let trains drive 1 meter near you with a high speed like this!...

Hmmm, interesting! The sources I was cross checking when I put up the description were unclear so I simply guessed.Thank you for clarifying.
