To be honest what kind of rivalry is this? As a Yankees fan my team has 26 rings boston has 3 they could win the championship 20 years in a row and still be behind. As for the all time series its 1112-932. The only way they are rivals is because of the post season series record 11-8 New York

if the Red Sox suck, how come every player on that team minus Aardsma and Casey have at least one World Series ring, when a whole three present Yankees (Posada, Jeter, and Rivera) have a ring?
