I loved how you colored this! and noticed ortopilots voice straight away!! Also I have recently taken a sudden interest in painting/drawing people and I'm wondering how do you look at a photo so small and transform it and get it all right!!
I believe it's ok to use tools to create... When I paint faces/portraits I usually use a photo projector to sketch a rough outline onto the canvas before I start painting. Then I'll use the smaller photo as reference.
