O.M.G.What if Obama actually becomes president. Who will he hire in his cabinet and beyond?!?!?!I see mostly fat ass black women for some reason answering phones and saying "no you didn't" every chance they get, but mostly on the phone working as little as possible and making hair weave and fake finger nail appointments all the while not worrying about getting fired because that would be racist and the government can'r be called racist. Will Jesse Jackson and farakon have positions??SCARY!!!!!
The limp viewpoint here is interestingly noted in all races. In a small pamphlet, written early 1930's, a journalist wrote an article ~ Letter to Garcia...look it up sometime. Divisional hatreds are utilized within the human mind especially amongst the poor & the oppressed. Before 1900's, racism didn't exist. Intelligences instead then preyed on creating more hatreds & separateness from the conscience of mankind. Hopefully whitey doesn't have a noose around his neck to do as he says. SCARY!!
That's a good point David. I suppose having a man of principals like Gravel in the cabinet is always a good thing. But that doesn't mean Obama will keep his word.
Mr. Fleetwood that's an interpretation. Certainly a well stated one... but I'm a little more hopeful. Could it be that Mr. Obama saw the sense and intelligence in Mr. Gravel's work? I love Senator Gravel. I heard him speak: I sort of felt woken up. What was going on?!? Oh, I realized, this cat is actually speaking of the people, for the people. Such an extreme rarity in this pitifully hollow, exploitive and deceptive system we currently suffer from. Thanks for interviewing Mr. Gravel.
Obamanation is not the outsider newbie he's being painted to be. Zbignew Brezneski is his chief political advisor. Zbig is the founder of al qieda. Zbig brags about this in two books, "The Grand Chess Board" and "Between Two Ages."
Zbig founded al qieda 6 months before the soviets invaded afghanastan.
Obamanation and his wife are members of the Chicago arm of the Council on Foriegn Relations which was also founded by David Rockefeller and Zbig.
Mike Gravel should stay in the race until the convention and then support nader/gonzalaz. There is no way that obama would offer a cabinet post to gravel....Gravel is far too independent and most likely far to progressive for Obama's taste. That is unless President obama will be more like State Senator Obama and NOT like the corperate US Senator Obama.
As a socialist I can assure you that the Democratics are not socialists...well..at least most of them are corperate and that means the power base...there may be some dems who are socialists however and thats a good thing....
In response to this vid, I doubt Gravel will become the Ralph Nader of next election, since Nader is running. I'm not sure what you mean by him "gaining traction." Gravel's candidacy, as much as I support it, has been a virtual nonentity. I say Gravel should either:
1. take the position if he will actually have some influence with which to promote the national initiative AFTER barack wins the nomination
Look at how the Dems compate to other countries' "left" parties. Dems only support a small amount of what true progressives want, and nearly nothing that any socialist would advocate.

Ok, so I get excited that maybe Gravel will become a relevant part of Obama's cabinet, only to hop over to your other video to hear from Gravel it's not at all likely... I need a drink.
Davis, take your rose-tinted shades off for one sec friend...you seem fairly smart guy & must realize that Obama, Hill & McCain all speak for the C.F.R. & big corporate interests. This is merely the illusion of choice, all 3 are glorified salesmen and will merely lie for the real power. ADM, Monsanto, Halliburton, KB&R, GE couldn't care less which of these three win & sitting around wondering which CFR chronie we want really makes no sense. Over $430 MILL/day in war spending & you vlog this?
Quit playing along with these charades...less than 5% of Americans are actually sane, they at least had enough sense to vote for Gravel, Kucinich or Paul. Break it down further to include only those few that've assimilated the four aspects of the psyche (rationality, emotion, instinct & intuition) -- ergo they control their psyche instead of it controlling them, and the number of truly enlightened Americans prolly around 1%. We need to get back to the laws of nature, back to truth & reality.
So, why do I get the feeling that April Fools Day has something to do with this? Thanks for the laugh. Humor is something Republicans can't deal with, but it appears a few liberals are having trouble with it also! A lot of the comments are even funnier than your video. Glad you're back!
Gravel speaks the truth when he says both the dems and reps both want the war to go on and both parties are imperialists, I wonder if Ron Paul will step up to the plate next?
Add Ralph Nader and it's a deal. Good thing this news didn't come out today or i may have thought it was an April Fool's joke.
Speaking of which... today is actually FOSSIL FOOLS DAY...with the The Rising Tide Group organizing protests worldwide. This is a major issue but it seems that Obama supports clean coal energy...WHAT??????? he needs to desperately revisit RENEWABLES now!! We need Ralph too.
everything hasta be negative doesnt it ? thank god obama is reaching out. first democrat this election year to do it! we complain they dont listen to the liberal base, and then when they do you get mad and make it an evil thing! gee whiz! ive given money to gravel, and i think ur silly.
If Obama really means this, then that is the Only thing that will make me vote for him. I am a Gravel supporter too, but if Obama one ups us, there's gonna be hell to pay. Obama has got to do something for me, or atleast stand up for me and Americans, ie impeachment, stop funding the war, AND repeal the unconstitutional bills passed. But he's MIA on that, sorta like where's Waldo and you want to ask Waldo important questions.
I know exactly what you mean. Barack has so much potential, just as much as Hillary, to make change in the senate, but they haven't yet and failed miserably and denying their failures. I truly hope they learn to adapt the national initiative.
This election? Totally the most historic, crazy, maddening, frusterating, greatest thing I have witnessed in a loooooooong time. I LOVE ELECTION YEARS!
Mike does not need Obama.Obama needs Mike. What America needs is Mike as President and if he is lucky maybe Mike would offer Obama a job as the Ambassador to Iraq.
Wow, if Gravel can make this happen by threatening to run on the Lib ticket, then Kucinich should sway towards the Greens and then get a Dept of Peace post from Obama!!!
OK, now how about telling Dennis Kucinich he will stop using war as an instrument of policy, and offer him the position of the first US Secretary of Peace in the new Department of Peace.
Is this another example of the dark, dry humor that keeps us coming back for more, OR could this actually be a stroke of genius on Davis Fleetwood's part?
It's been confirmed that Gravel is dropping out of the Race and Obama is going to back the National Initiative which would allow citizens to propose, alter, or nullify laws in conjunction with traditional legislative bodies. The story is spreading like Wildfire on the net. Search "national initiative" on Youtube for more info or "Obama Adopting National Initiative. Gravel to Drop Out of Race" on Goggle.
This is great news. Everyone needs to send an online thank you to Barack for doing something that shows his support for the American People and Democracy. Up until today Barack has been all words and no action.
We dont know what will happen in politics, if Hilabitch and Obama keep destroying each other, Gravel will have a good chance. So for that, keep going at it Dems, because you are pathetic.
It depends on how much support he gets from the electorate. Thomas Jefferson said we should have a revolution every twenty years. Seems to me we are due.
God, do I ever agree with that, but the American public is more interested in its next bottle of beer or watching dumbed down television. Most men are cowards these days. Just look at the gun owners who stood by and did nothing when local government stipped them of their firearms. "Start the revolution without me" appears to be their motto.
I alway cringe when people start talking about Democrates and Republicans, like there is a difference... As if there is a politial center, rght or left anymore... There is only one type of politics now... One Party... The Party of Greed... Filled with the criminals and cheats that go along with the policy of greed. Bring our troops home now.
Not only is this election historic, a Presidental candidate that wants to give away power and give it to the people like Mike Gravel does will only come once im sure during this lifetime.
Hmmm...I hope Mike takes it. And are you sure you mean "libertarian" traction. 'Cuz that's very different from the left. More a Ron Paul kind of thing. Mike Gravel is more of a pure Democracy guy.
But Gravel's decided to run as a libertarian in resistance to the current state of the Democratic party. I like Barack, but do you think Mike will take the bait?
I don't know.. seems shady on the part of obama's team.. but I'd like to see gravel accept this offer. he stands to have a better opportunity to make an impact with his issues if he joins a strong proponent in this race. I just really hope its not a false hand reaching out to gravel, like the democrats offered nader when they tried to get him to willfully quit running. they denied the whole list of requests he made and he was only asking they serve three of them.
Hey Davis, I hope Gravel turns down the bribe. It's time we take a real stance and accept the fact that many have known since at least JFK, the ESTABLISHMENT is rotten to core and we need to be done with them. Obama is establishment. Gravel should stick to his guns so that we can continue with the awakening which is happening across the country. The Obama deal would stifle all the progress we've already made.
Obama is all the awakening there's ever going to be (at least in the near-future). No one is "waking up" to Gravel or Kucinich any more than they have already done so. They had as ample opportunity during the primaries as they're going to get, and they won't change their minds. Obama, however, is young and pliable, and could be forced to serve the people. And a cabinet post is a powerful position. Trust me, Gravel could (potentially) achieve a lot more than he is achieving now.
