  • why isnt this news spread through the whole world and why arent the doctors awared about this way of treatment??

  • Why do this when a fructarian diet works and some supplements in the beginning, the steriods will kill you eventually.

  • I am a recovered fibromyalgic who left the care of the medical profession to discover the cause and cure of this horrific condition without drugs, and am living proof you can cure this and take back your life. Symptoms are mistaken for the cause and treatments that help do not cure. Please, do not be discouraged by failed hope and keep going!!!

  • Bitches, what you need is vitamin D mag and calc and b vitamin supplements, and amino acid supplementation...

  • @greeniem I've been on D, Mag, Calc and B...didn't help a bit.

  • @greeniem excercise probably works a little better for me tho

  • @fibromyalgiahell I will tell you what is working for me. My doctor is trying to prove that antidepressants work to help ease the symptoms. He prescribed effexor xr and flexeril to me. All my pain and other symptoms have gone, in a matter of 3 months, from 8 to 4 on a scale of 1-10. What he believes is that FMS may be mis-firing of pain receptors due to a chemical imbalance in the brain. He has had more success besides me on this. Talk to your doctors.

  • Dotslady, the reason the Fibro patients are overweight is because of the medication they try to put us on. Lyrica, is a very dangerous drug, in which the government has their hands in of course. It does no good for us, and it causes us to gain lots of weight. In 4 months I gained 92 lbs of fluid buildup, and something I can't even spell. I changed doctors, he changed my meds, and I lost all that weight and fluid in 10 1/2 months

  • I have had those injections done, it is not for Fibromyalgia. I have Fibro, as well as spinal cord injuries. It didn't not do cr@p for anything on me!!!

  • Thousands??? MILLIONS AND MILLIONS!!!!

  • I'm wondering where Amy's daughter is that she signed over to her mother becaue she couldn't care for her.

  • More videos like this (only for physicians) at symposier (.com)

  • This video is a couple of years old and I would like to know how those patients are doing now and of any studies that have been done since this.

I have had all of my vitamin levels checked and my d & b-12 were extrememly low. I am finally at a normal level and still take D3 & B-12 everyday and I STILL HAVE FIBROMYALGIA.

Unfortunately we are all different and respond differently to different treatments

  • Discouraged to see this 'ad' for tx for a syndrome which could be based on poor nutrition status. Autoimmune conditions are triggered by constant/sudden stress, pregnancy, virus or surgery.

A LOT of fibro patients are unhealthy, often overweight (constant stress on the body from malnourishment) (see You-Tube videos for yourself).

Did this I'm sure well-meaning doc ck vitamin levels in his patients (ie D, B12, folate, iron panel)? My fibro is "cured" w/Vit D. Read Vit D Cure by Dr. Dowd.

  • I am slim and have always lived healthy. I used to run marathons and do a lot of mountain hiking. Now I am practically bedridden with fibromyalgia. So your reply is b.s.

  • @VeraWithPets Sorry VeraWithPets. You are right. Anyone can have fibro. I just see a lot of overweight people, mostly women (they eat their stress away). I have grown into more understanding of this syndrome and think it's due to stress and/or hypochloridia or lack of stomach acid &/or low secretory IGA? Many fibros have other autoimmune diseases: stress & lack of stomach acid could be the trigger; which creates malabsorption and low serotonin production. I do better in summer. Do you?

  • @dotslady

if u think fibromyalgia is caused by stress ur just an unexperienced person to ever have it, its so more than too easy to talk about fibromyalgia and its patients in 3rd person

  • @TheDBZGTFan I've had 22yrs of experience, and hopefully someone not too far gone into depths of fibro hell will gain something from what I've learned in 5. I stopped eating processed garbage and try for mostly organic food. When I eat gluten, dairy, sugar, caffeine, additives? PAIN. If push comes to shove, no nightshades, no eggs, or autoimmune version of paleodiet. com or thepaleodiet. com depending on tolerance. Balance your hormones. Try before you balk. • How often do you have to have the steroid injections? Are you completely numb? Please respond and where are you located at. Thank-you

  • What are the long term effects of steroids on the physical body? Are you masking symptoms or curing disease?

  • @pickledpickledpink long term use of steroids.... causes your bones to become brittle, and lowers your immune system. with fibromyalgia, your immune system is already compromised. but, if you suffer from fibromyalgia, it is a progressive disease, the pain becomes more widespread and more painful. at some point, you will come to the point that you cannot live with the pain, it is excruciating. it is an individual choice, not to be made lightly.
