@dianemummvideos hi , it helps the solution to stick and break thru the waxy surface of some plants..it is also a good pest deterrent.. as a bonus it also knocks down the smell of the vinegar considerably
orange oil aka has different grads edible grade is put in food fore flavor. food grade is used in cleaners. but commercial grade and industrial grade is toxic.
Not weed killer. Herbicide. Not long lasting, the weeds and grass come back, the weeds worse than before because no grass to shade them out. Must drip onto a weed plant to work w/o killing the grass. Tedious. I use Weed killer.
Monsanto sells killer poisons like "roundup" along with GMO crops and other human killers like Agent Orange. Monsansto and other chemical corporations like them are terrorist organizations guilty of terroirsm and crimes against humanity.
@PanzerBlitz43 Monsanto is also trying all they can to make it illigal for you to have a home garden, look into some of the national food safety bills that are out there, they want to control all the food that are making us sick and then we have to have eds to make us better. It is just on big circle of money flying out of our pockets. Oh and Monsanto is buing up all the heirloom seed companies and shutting them down, so if you have seed, let some of yo ur plants go to seed so you can replace it
I took up a larg area of grass and weeds from my aunts back yard but their are lots of roots left in with the airea how long after useing this can we put in new plants
@1969626 I don't really know ,, I just use it to kill random weeds,, but it will kill or damage any plant that comes in contact with it. If you wet the soil down good it should wash a lot of it away.
@2JobsStillPoorUSA the orange oil , does indeed provide an oil to the mix ,,, it obviously provides acid ,, much like the vinegar ,,, and when you put the orange oil into the vinegar is smells so much better it completly hides the strong vinegar smell ,,, many bad bugs and animals are driven away by the scent of citrus... so I find that is a nice bonus to the mix.. is it necessary ..no .. can you substitute oil ,, absolutely... oil will also kill bad bugs by suffocating makes it last longer
@stymye Thank you for the explanation. I knew that orange oil is a great furniture cleaner/moisturizer but never thought of putting it on weeds. Go figure.
I have these nasty trees sprouting up all over... They are a type of sumac but are not native here... darned things send runners so kill one and 3 more pop up next year. ARGHHHH!

@Allen2045 Sorry I went out and sprayed some weeds and filmed that part, but my battery went out and it started raining before I could film the results . I'm going to start over and show that part in another video( believe me it works( the weeds I sprayed are dead)
@Allen2045 I sprayed a bunch of crabgrass yesterday afternoon , I checked this morning and it was all completely brown and dead.. so I'm guessing within 8-10 hours mabey less it does the deed.
Thx! Gonna give it a try.

Can you use washing up liquid instead of soap. In the uk we have white and brown vinegar so will this make a difference.
