  • she is sylhitii lolz

  • She is not Bangali>>>>>>>

    may be INdian

  • They ta-ta yes but muslims in Bangladesh say kadafes. Bengali is more spoken in Bangladesh, a muslim majority country, why only the nomoshkar? We, in Bangladesh say as salam wa alaikum!

  • @SupaSykoBOY - "kadafes" & " wa alaikum " are not "Bengali" per se, they are Arabic. The above video is about translation of Bengali language...

  • @sarbojitp1 Hindu Bengalis say Namaskar, because that is the way Hindus say it. Namaskar comes from Hindi, a language sacred to Hindu Bengalis. Muslim Bengalis say "khuda hafeez" and as salam wa alaikum, it is because they are Muslim, and they are in Arabic, because the Arabic language is sacred to Muslims. In the Bengali language, the way to say hello is hyalo. I'm from Bangladesh, and the majority of Bengalis in the world are Muslim, Onek Bangali Muselman!

    Greetings differ b/w religion!

  • @SupaSykoBOY That' s right! i'm italian and the 99% of bangla people i know are muslims. So salam aleykum, amar ridoè bagla! dekà hobè bhai!

  • Hi there. I am creating a series of videos to teach people Bangla. Your video popped up right after I uploaded mine and its great. I am trying to make it more generalized and incorporate both dialects from Bangladesh and Calcutta. Your videos gives me ideas. Thanks!

  • Bengali is a dialect? Bengali is a Indo-Aryan language with a long and rich literary tradition. Is the only language in the subcontinent that was honoured with a Nobel prize for literature and you are saying "Indian Bengali Dialect Language" you stupid stupid girl.

  • She cant even speak properly with the correct accent. And what dialect?; she's speaking Bengali.

  • She did a splendid job, although I speak Bengali much better but she is the one who gave this valuable presentation to those who will find it useful. So screw those rascals who criticized her for not being able to say Bengali with the right accent. She should go on with this series .....just like I don't care much about my Irish wife bitching about me saying aluminium instead of aluminum (as they say in the land captured by the European 'pilgrims' who came by the Mayflower).

  • indian bengali is quite different frm bangladeshi bengali....

  • She needs to learn bengali first....or is she trying to be over-smart?

  • she can't speak bengali at all lol and she is teaching bengali.

  • bengali dialect indian means the indian version of bengali IMO.

bengali is spoken west into india, east into bangladesh...

  • numuskar is the majority of how Bangladeshi ppl say hello ...and isnt the formal taught before the informal ?

  • nice eyebrows

  • this is Bangladeshi

  • It's somewhat different how Bangladeshis say it. Bangladeshis are more country. Either way I can under stand it.

  • I think she learned from her parents but doesn't speak natively. Also we could hear better if she enunciated and spoke louder.

  • i have heard people say good bye as "kutha Haves" was I wrong in translating that?

  • Bengali itself is a language..it is not a dialect of Hindi...both Bengali and Hindi derived from "Sanskrit"...there are lot of similarities between Bengali and pure Hindi....most of the word are same...pronunciation is different.

  • Moder gorob moder asha..ah, mori bangla bhasha....i'll teach you bengali

  • @faisal2471

    Bengali is its own Languge?

its sounds like Hindi, is it a dialect of Hindi

    or they just sound similar?

  • @MetalHeart8787

Most of Indian languages derived from Sanskrit and its sister languages.

  • Okay she seriously sounds white, and Bengali is spoken in India, ever heard of Kolkatha -_-? & fyi their Bangla/Bengali is more shundo and proper then ours! Tara khati shundo bangla bole(& dont speak with dialects like us -_-)...but she is seriously 4gting stuff, I mean majority of Bengali speaking people are Muslims & we say salam not nomoshkar -__- & she 4gt all the Apni/Apne forms I mean u wouldnt say Tumi 2 an elderly person would u? common sense here!

  • SHE KILLED THE BEUTIFUL LANGUAGE WITH ENGBENGALI.......AITA KI HOLO....

  • @santacloud9 tai fagolor furi fagol, elagi :D

  • @santacloud9 You mean.... ENGALI :D

  • What is wrong with you people? First, she probably means dialect in terms of HER dialect of Bengali,of which there are 4 major ones. Second, according to Wikipedia, the language is called EITHER Bengali or Bangla. Third, and most important, this is a nice instructional video, of which we need more, not a political debate.

The ignorance and hatefulness of most Americans makes me ashamed to be from this country.

  • love namashkar is hindi, aslaamalikum is a muslim greeting. as far as i know most bengalis are muslim so use the 2nd one

  • Bengali is not a "dialect" ; it is a complete, rich and one of the most spoken languages (ranking sixth) in the world, with nearly 230 million total speakers.

It is native to the region of eastern South Asia known as Bengal, which comprises present day Bangladesh, the Indian state of West Bengal, and parts of the Indian states of Tripura and Assam. It is written with the Bengali script.

Such type of videos should have such anchors who can speak Bengali correctly.

  • @shankha28 Agreed....

  • bengali? bengali are ppl bangla is the language and its both in Bangladesh and India .....

  • damn, her eyebrows are thick!

  • you can't even pronounce "bangla" properly & making videos to spread your words for what? to destroy it?!

  • Goodbye is usually "see you later", i.e. "dekha hobe", "pore dekha hobe", etc. I'm not certain, but "nomoshkar" is formal. Informally, you'd use something like "ki khobor?" Btw, I don't think you need to put "Indian Bengali". What you said is pretty standard for any place.

  • bengali isnt fucking indian.....wut ur u guys smokin........

  • @Re4perZer0 Then where is bengali from may I ask?

  • @subroto81 Bangladesh. near the Assam/burma/ thailand region. yes, india is adjacent, but you don't call iranians indians/pakis, and if you examine the culture and the language, there are some similarities to southeast asians, although nobody likes to talk about it.

  • Comment removed

  • @Re4perZer0 Right next to Bangladesh is the Indian state of West Bengal. Bangladesh is merely an independent East Bengal. So, Bengali is fundamentally Indian, just as Urdu, Punjabi, Gujarati, etc are.

And not that I agree with this, but there are many people in West Bengal who would argue that Bangladeshi Bangla is not Bangla at all, but a corrupted version.

The point is, South Asian languages all originate in a historical India; it's just that now there are arbitrary political boundaries.

  • @interyeti yes, but greater bengal extended into burma and other parts of politically recognized southeast asia. the main reason people identify Bangladesh with India/pakistan and all those countries is religion, bengalis are mostly muslim, but adjacent burma is mostlyi buddhist, bengalis were originalkly a mixture of tamil/tibeto burman and are recognized now as austroloids along with mons, khmers, munda, so forth so on,many languages have had sanskirt origins as well, even thai, chinese&farsi

  • @interyeti the whole region was Bengal once and Bengal rulers ruled half the south asia once so thats doesnt make Bangla fundamentally indian,

West bengal+Assam+Bangladesh+some parts of Nepal and Burma which was used to be called THE Bengal ,and yes the people of Bengal does speak Bangla and 95% of them are BENGALI , its not corrupted Bangla its the way they speak Bangla like indians speak (tapori) hindi in bombay!!!

  • SHE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN PICKED FOR THIS.

SHE SOUNDS LIKE A WHITE LADY WHO RECENTLY LEARNED BENGALI (NO OFFENCE TO WHITE PEOPLE)

I would have done this better myself, she has one of the shittiest accents i've heard in my entire life. And I'm only 16 (^_^)

  • cute girl, ;-), i send you a big kiss, from my country, interesting language, yeah!

  • Very funny to hear the English accent! ;-)

  • accent is poor, also she is not explaining the grammar.

    like Amie bhalo is

    Amie = Me

    Bhalo = Good

    Toomie = You etc.

and the differences in formal and informal

    Apne = You (formal)..

Apne Kemon AchEN Vs Toomie Kemon AchO (How are you:formal vs informal)

seems like a super rushed and redundant tutorial vid (Sorry)

  • @krone01

To be honest this is something very commonly spoken in the U.S where I live by Bengalis. Its a lot different in Bangladesh but what she spoke is something common I speak like and all my friends would speak like since we treat Bengali as a second language since we're used to English so our Bangla is a bit bad like hers in a way.

  • I like to thank Bengali people for their contribution in the field of pleasure industry in India and middleast.

  • @teereexr

    what do you mean?

  • She has the Bengali accent that develops if you grow up in a country where Bengali is not spoken in public. So, her accent is not the standard one. I don't think she uses Bengali as her first language.

  • bengali girls luk descent n cute!

  • @deathmaster1097

    Don't They?

    :)

  • Well, nice one...

The last one "Good Bye" does have a Bengali word for it.

    it is "Bidaay"... pronounced Bee-Daaye.

It's okay that she doesn't know about it... she's not a native speaker.

    peace.

  • @apairofdrums

my friend I need your help..

how do u say " you are beautiful (woman) in bengali????

so i need to know the pronutation too... thanks so much..

    my language native is spanish...

  • @paulecu07

    for spanish speakers:

apne khubi shundor (mojila)-you do not really need to say mojila

    (Eres) (muy) (hermoso) (mujer)

tumi khubi shundor (mojila)- tumi is like tu in spanish, more informal

    (Eres) (muy) (hermoso) (mujer)

You would use "Apne" here as you are complimenting but if you know the person well use "Tumi"

Pronounce all the letters EXACTLY as you would in Spanish. I have spelt them exactly how you would spell them in Spanish.

    (^_^) hope all goes well

  • @paulecu07

it's "Aapni Khub Shundor" or, "Aapni Khub Shundor Dekhte" when told to elders. For equal or younger girls replace "Aapni" with "Tumi".

The most important pronunciation is the "d" in "Shundor"... it will sound like "th" in "thee" or "this". Same goes for the D in Dekhte.

    happy complementing...

  • Hare Krishna

  • I think she was at least. She might not be a native speaker her self. Besides, if you went to Bangladesh and said those phrases like that it's not like they won't understand you.

  • lolzzzzzz.. actually I should be pissed off. What the F??

*This girl doesn't even speak Bengali very well.

*Bengali is the 5th largest speaking Language in the WORLD. (not a dialect)

    * This video is edited poorly.. No one can learn anything from it.

  • She's trying to make it clearer so people can listen to the translations and find it easier to say. In Bangladesh there are different dialects. I don't know why she put that as a title though, she is translating to the true Bengali dialect, which they speak mainly in Dhaka. I say true because this dialect is written and read in Bengali books. Other dialects such as Sylheti are slightly different (some slightly, some a lot).

  • she is an idiot

  • gypsy

  • You should learn first then teach!

  • you dont even know hw 2 pronounce it lmaoo && ur teaching others?!

  • Honey, Bengali is a language, not a dialect

  • @JoyDevivre I think, by dialect, she meant "Indian Bengali".

  • my understanding of bengali is shit as i speak sylheti but even i knew that she got everything all wrong.

  • lol well it was indian bangali they probably speak abit different. ami oh sylheti haha!

  • who the heck says ta-ta?

  • i wanna fuck your little beganli pussy and suck ur small tits

  • funny

  • wtf?

  • Hey Parna! or whatever your name is.. you learn how to pronounce right bangla first then teach others. You are not helping non-bengalis by teaching "tumi kemon aacho?" instead of "tumi kemon aachho?" it's "chh" not "ch" and lots more...

  • basurilla !

  • Fuck This Indian curry chik she don't even speak bengali Bengali from Bangladesh

  • I feel sorry for your ignorance! Take it easy! It's not that serious! The fact that at least she in on Youtube and translating Bengali makes her a doer and you, just a talker!!!!

  • Feel Sorry ? My ASS stupid Bengali speaking people only in Bangladesh - and they are the only one nation who fight for there own language.Go back to the dirty CITY OF JOY ass hole Stink Indian

  • Any normal person can see that I did not say anything about Bangladesh or India etc etc..I merely stated that at least she is doing SOMETHING even if she has a thick accent or with a wrong description. The point is, it does not matter if she is Indian, Bangladeshi, Bengali etc etc!! All you did was criticize like a bitter ASS!! You seem to have a chip on your shoulder! There is a saying in Bangla "Khali Kolshi Baaje Beshi" if you are too dumb to know what that means, ask someone who does.

  • "Khali Kolshi Baaje Beshi" what the hack it is ?

  • Wow! you make comments on a language you have no idea about!!! First learn the language and then perhaps you can add some value to conversations regarding Bangla/Bangladesh/India and accents!

  • OK!! Dumb ASS

  • LOL! Idiot! Did you just learn that word "Dumb" on Sesame Street?

  • @4BICCHI Empty vessels make most noise

  • @gqptyu Like you fucking Ghoti Bati

  • your profile says "I'm very out spoken and open mind"; and now we can see you are a piece of shit. TOR MAA KE CHUDI.. KHANKIR BYATAA!!!

  • This video is labelled as "Bengali dialect Indian". This is like saying "Italian dialect European". Bengali is not a dialect of "Indian". It is simply a language spoken in Bengal and Bangladesh. There is no one language called "Indian".

  • you are the indian ugly betty

  • ur accent SUCKS

  • U got it completely wrong...Goodbye = Tata !!!! it's 'Bidai'

and it's not 'acho' it's 'aachho' ...not 'ekane' it's 'ekhaane'

    anyway nice try...really funny!!!!

I am not going to trust any of these translations now...going to look for better ones..

    Bidai...forever

  • Bidai-ta onekta kabbik hoye galo.. at least onektai rash bhari..
