I had the honor of seeing Sarah about a year ago in Ft Collins, CO. Quite by suprise, I'd never herd of her. she played solo, grand piano, at the Timberline Church, for about 2-3000 people. She then greeted people leaving. I wish I had talked to her. She a very classy lady and a profesional musician. I'm not a avid church go'er. But if I here that she's in town I'm going!

sorry, but i don't think that the pictures fit the song very well

the song "fly" discribes the beautiful relationship between a wife and her husband and the strength that real love gives.

in my view mangas are too childlike to show the big declaration of love that sara gives to troy.

It seems that maybe KanaMari wanted to liken the bride theme and flying to our relationship with Christ (the cross, angel wings, etc.) rather than human relationship Sara's singing about. Works for me.

I think a christian song writer can write a song just about her relationsship to her husband without writing about Jesus.

Of course she is a christian and of course many songs from her are about God but this song isn't about him!

And because of her text, I'm of the opinion that you couldn't interpret this song odifferently!

Oh, I agree with you completely. No argument there. I'm just seeing these beautiful pictures of "myself" with angel wings as I listen and the song then takes me beyond my (wonderful) relationship with my husband and takes me to my very, very intimate and freeing relationship with Jesus, kissing or no. When we reach heaven, the Bible says there'll be a wedding. I intend to live in that kind of love now. Bet Sara does, too, even if she did write this for Troy.

But I, for my part, distinguish between a song that I sing for my husband and a song that I sing to Jesus.

Even if a marriage resembles my relationsship to God, I'm of the opinion that one can't mix them up.

Therefore, I think that a love song for my husband couldn't be sung to God.

But maybe I have a narrow-minded view and you are

right too.

I wasn't really trying to be sybolic. I know she's singing it to her husband, and it's one of my favourite songs. I thought about using pictures of couples, but I coudn't find very many I liked, so I decided to use a winged theme, instead. I'm sorry if it bothers you.

Let the Love of God define the meaning for YOU and not someone else.

He knows YOUR needs.

The song and words can be used of God in any way He chooses to bless each child of His.

For the married, He may use the song to help in their marriage. For singles like me, He has used this song to bless me in my 'engagement' to Him.

Let Peace and the Love of God rule.
