The Heckels are quite hard to keep, Altums are far more easy. Water has to be extremely clean.

Very nice tank. It is beautiful, clean, and not overstocked. Everything looks happy... and yeah, the background is breathtaking!

Nice tank, i really like the scape. Background is from back to nature? How many heckels and altums are in the tank? Beside Aphycharax rathabauni do you have any more species in the tank? What are tank dimensions, filtration, water change regime?

Backgruond is from Aquaterra. 6 Heckel & 3 Altum. Tetras are Aphycharax Anasitsi. Other than that I have Corydoras Sterbai, Sturisoma Aureum, L128, L168, L333 and L401.

Tank is 200*60*60 cm = 720 liter. Filtration, Eheim 2080 + 2013 + 1100l/h powerhead to circulate water behind the background. WC = 25% once a week.
