I think role play would have to be restricted to how each player handles a situation. A bit like DnD, the whole party has t be on board to make a group choice, but you can all express your individual doubts and put in your 2cents. If they could make it voice reactive without having to buy the kinect, I'd pay the extra. The kinect, however, wouldn't be used for anything other than this game, so I won't blow the cash for the entire system.

I am actually open to the introduction of a side Co-op to the Mass Effect series. I trust Bioware enough to not give us something lame. In addition, its optional. That is the best part. We all know ME3 is gonna rock the balls off of everyone, so just get the game and give Bioware some lovin'.

I played the multiplayer at a alienware launch party and there will be rpg elements in the multiplayer just like single player. You pick a class and use exp rewarded through gameplay to rank up class abilities.

The gameplay handles a lot like gears of war but with mass effects scifi flair.

I only played 1 mode in my limited time and it seemed to be a horde mode with random objectives u must complete or u fail.

From what I read, the multiplayer is sort of like in Assassin's Creed where you send assassins to do certain things in others part of the world. Instead Shepard sends Special Forces (where you and your buddies team up) to recapture areas that could affect the war and even single player missions.

I thought it was co-op multiplayer, which I was actually all for (having been wholeheartedly against multiplayer in the Mass Effect series when I thought it was head to head since I'm sick of PvP taking over every game out there.) Was there actually a head to head aspect in the trailer? It looked like co-op team vs. badass computer AI enemies to me, which is what I had recently heard the ME multiplayer was going to be.

I really like the idea of multiplayer. However the hoard mode style will get boring after a while. A CTF style of gameplay might also be fun and give the game variety. I also feel that players should be able to play as the opposing faction. A PVP style of of game, with players on one side as alliance, krogan, and the other good guys, and on the other, have players be husks, geth, or cerberus troops fighting them.
