Nice upload and powerful enough to provike a busy man to sit and meditate, and fly thousands of miles to a small village of Malawa near Kekirawa town where we had beutiful time some 30 years ago. Most of the evenings, we gatthered at the little mud house of Preme Ayya, the lead singer and sang songs with the village boys. There were Senevi Ayya, Chuti Adikari, Upali Adhikari, Jayantha, Ajith and Wijekoon most of the time singing CT Ferandos songs. That was the best of times.... Rural life....

Well another nice song & thank you always for the history you bring fourth with these songs. I enjoy reading them too while listening. These are such catchy songs that never die. I realised that I had been only 4yrs old when great CT passed away and 5yrs when Rukmani passed away. I vaguely remember airing that news through SLBC. Today we still can enjoy their music. Such is the power of their songs. Its really amazing that Rukamani sang with many greats with no proper training in music.

Thanks Janaka. I remember Rukmani's death, especially it happened a few hundreds of yards away from my place. It was a terrible tragedy. I also remember CT passing away of throat cancer. I had the good fortune to meet and talk with both Eddie and Rukmani (husband and wife) at my uncle's place. Also have seen CT face to face, at Silvertone's Colombo, where he was the manager.
